How to draw faces in fashion illustration

Hi , I'm and I'm a fashion designer and a fashion illustration teacher from Europe how to draw faces in fashion illustration .

This tutorial is for Golden Alexis as memo channel , Jasmine Smith Doc .

Hi , Tanya co and many more who wanted to learn how to actually draw a fashion port .

And here is the process when drawing the face in fashion , we start with the round of the face , then we add the nose in a triangle shape .

After that , we continue with the lips .

Make sure you leave the bottom part of the lips in white because usually that is the lighted part of the lips , then go to the eyes .

The size of an eye is the same as the distance between the eyes .

Use soft lines and then add more contrast when you are sure you did the right thing for the eyes , the upper part is darker and the lower part you can leave it in soft gray .

There is no use to add so much contrast here use parallel lines to shade the part under the eyebrows where the shadow is , add shadow under the nose and chin and on the sides then use creative expressive lines to make the hair .

It is not necessary to have a real haircut because as you can see , you can play even more with the lines to create a spectacular haircut , do the earrings and the neck use lines that suggest a lacy costume , then go to the chest and use expressive lines .

As you can see in my drawing , use eight B pencils for more contrast and put some accents .

Where do you need them ?

Add details if you want and then let's do another drawing .

This time , we can be even more creative start like you already know with the oval of the face , then suggest the right eye and then the left one add the shadow in parallel lines .

After that , think of a crazy shape for the earrings , they are not necessarily symmetric .

So you can think of any shapes .

This time I choose a non symmetrical hat and I accentuated some lines of the background in order to make it even more obvious on the page .

As about the costume I played with curves and exaggerated the volumes , use your imagination and helped by our creative tools , the lines , the dots and the surfaces create a costume .
