In my recipes , Raggi is also one of the very few natural sources of vitamin and hence , an addition of a good healthy fat is a must when you're using raggy flour .
The high fiber in raggy flour helps to keep you feel fuller for a longer time .
Thus helps in weight loss and weight management .
It is packed with calcium , good carbs , mino acids and vitamin D .
Raggi has a good amount of iron .
That is ideal for those with iron deficiency anemia .
Once the Raggi is lightly roasted , you can notice steam starting to come out at that time .
Remove the raggy flour from the tower to another plate , allow the roasted raggy flour to cool down .
So I'm gonna keep this aside .
This is a completely sugar free cake recipe .
Hence , I'm not using refined sugar or even jaggery in this recipe .
And what I've noticed is the darker the chocolate is , the more cream you would need .
So I prefer to use , uh , the 70% 1 to get , like the perfect kind of , um , structure .
But you could also use darker chocolate than just adjust the amount of cream as needed .
So we have 31 grammes of chocolate , and now we need to add the same amount of cream .
And now I'm gonna start heating the chocolate with the cream in a microwave in 12th intervals , so want to heat it and have a look at whether it's melting and then continue heating it if it's not melted .
enough .
I've removed the chocolate from the microwave , and there are still some pieces that I can see in the mix .
I'm using about eight male dates in this recipe .
Meo dates are soft and slightly bigger than ordinary dates .
However , if you're using ordinary dates and not soft male dates like I'm using , then you may need to increase the quantity of dates , maybe about 10 to 12 dates or as per your sweetness .
Majo dates are really soft and easily blendable .
Hence , I prefer to use them in my recipes .
If the dates you are using are not soft , like mine may need to soak them a little in water and then use .
I'm roughly tearing the dates and adding it into my chutney grinder .
Note that male dates are slightly bigger than ordinary dates .
So I just dates as per your sweetness .
I'm not using any eggs in this recipe and as a replacement for eggs , I'm adding in two tablespoons of flax seeds .
Next , I'm adding in one third cup water .
Sometimes you may need extra couple of tablespoon of water when you are mixing the batter , 1/4 teaspoon pink himal and salt or as needed .
One teaspoon vanilla extract , two tablespoon wood pressed coconut oil , wood pressed coconut oil are also known as cold pressed coconut oil , wood , pressed coconut oil has a very neutral flavor .
Hence , they're amazing to use in baking .
However , instead of wood pressed coconut oil , you can use any locally sourced wood pressed oil of your choice or even a two and one tip I would like to give at this point is that since the ray is one of the very few natural sources of vitamin D , you need a good source of healthy fat for the assimilation of vitamin D , which is a fat soluble vitamin .
Or if it's not runny enough , I can just add a little bit of cream and make it runnier .
And what I like to do is just to use a teaspoon to make the drips .
So no specific tools needed .
And I'm really happy with the consistency .
It's dripping down if I want .
It's also dripping down further , uh , like , almost to the bottom of the cake .
So this is the perfect consistency .
I like it , and I'm gonna leave it like this .
Instead of raw cocoa powder , you can use ordinary cocoa powder .
Also add in the roasted and cooled raggy , half teaspoon baking soda , half teaspoon baking powder and mix all this really well and save it into the banana mix .
This is an excellent healthy and nutrient dense sugar free eggless cake , which can be enjoyed by the whole family .
The best part is kids will not even guess there is finger millet or raggy in this cake .
No wheat flour or me is used to make this super healthy raggy cake Raggi once roasted will have some lumps .
Hence , it's ideal to see .
And you may have also noticed that I used just two tablespoons of wood pressed coconut oil .
So don't go just according to the recipe .
You want to , uh , test and add in some more cream , as I , um instructed .
And then it's gonna work every single time .
And also , if you've been intimidated by making a chocolate age drip , then you shouldn't be because it really is really simple to make .
Maybe the first time is not gonna look as , uh , even as smooth , but you learn as you go , and I promise it is not difficult to make .
I hope this tutorial will give you confidence on making those chocolate drips .
I , uh , was a little bit scared myself before I started , uh , making the chocolate drips .
I was afraid that it's not gonna work .
And , um , that , um I'm just gonna ruin my case .
So it's a very healthy and nutrient rich cake with very minimal oil and with the spatula , I'm lightly mixing the raggy flour into the banana mix .
You may need some extra water to help it blend into a nice cake batter consistency .
So first I'm roughly mixing the raggy flour and then I'll add some extra water as needed .
I have measured one third cup of water and I'm adding in half of it and I'm mixing it with this Bachelor , add the rest of the water and mix the batter once nicely mixed , the batter will be thick and creamy .
At this moment , I have preheated my oven to 1 80 degrees Celsius .
I have roughly chopped 70 g or about half a cup of dark chocolate .
You can also use dark chocolate chips instead into this .
