How to Draw the Grinch - Easy Drawing Lessons

Hey , how's it going today ?

We're gonna go over how to draw the Grinch .

The Grinch is kind of scary , right ?

So this is gonna be a lesson uh for beginners completely , completely for beginners step by step .

So I'm gonna be using this re brand marker and uh this is gonna be a regular printing paper .

So , all right , then that's pretty much it .

Let's get into it .

First thing I'm gonna do is I'm going to draw the brim of the hat and that's just gonna be these billowy kind of uh curve shapes and it's gonna be almost like a rectangle but like a cloudy rectangle .

I'm gonna pull the line up over here for the hat , top of the Christmas hat , but we're not gonna complete it yet .

I'm gonna go into uh the face .

I think it's really important to kind of go into the face .

Um But yeah , let's push more into kind of the face in general .

I'm going to actually um push forward into , well , yeah .

OK .

So first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna push into the face here .

So I'm gonna curve a line here for the center of the face curve , another line .

So this is gonna be like the inside of the eyebrow here , line inward here , pull up and then pull a line upward here into the eyebrow line over here .

Actually , I'm not gonna pull that other line yet .

I'm gonna find the actual eyebrow on this side .

It's gonna pull down , pull it up , going up out over here , line inward , line inward .

And then now I'm gonna pull a line over here on this side .

I'm gonna throw a circle shape right here for one of his eyes , circle shape over here and they're gonna pull a line over here and uh alrighty .

And now I'm gonna pull left over here , line over here curved .

So you have kind of those squinty eyes that he has and I'm gonna draw a dot Right here for one people and a dot For the other .

Yes , curve line over here for the nose over here to the left and over here for the left .

So Monday through Friday , um until the end of the year and after that , I'm gonna kind of rework the schedule .

So now you have the Grinch's face , I'm gonna drop off , cut line here for the actual drooping down of the , of the hat pulled downward and I'm finding the little , you know , and a little ball there , but it's gonna be kind of frill .

Yes .

Alrighty .

And then what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna draw a thick line around the border uh just because I like the look of that especially here .

Um It kind of makes it look like a sticker , so I'm gonna draw a thick line around the contour line of this also , while I'm doing that , I'll talk to you real quick .
