Salsa Dancing Moves - The Hand Flip

So you can also do a turn using both hands .

Very simple , same lead .

Our basic lead was lowering this hand and raising them back up .

I can use both hands and lower them and raise it back up .

We will do one basic step 123567 .

I'm gonna lead a two handed turn 123 567 .

Notice that the ladies ladies in charge of turning while my hands just maintain contact while she's turning around .

I'm not holding the hands and having her turn .

So she goes right .

So it's just very simple .

She turns and I make sure that I'm here to grab her and we can go back together .

Ok .

So here we go .

We can do 123567123567123567 .

And I can always go back to close position if I want to .

So to teach a pretty slick combo .

So you can switch hands whenever you're starting to do combos .

Very simple .

We remember that we just finished teaching that double will turn , double handed , turn and we can cross our hands .

So from here this is what we're gonna do .

1235 67123567123567 .

So breaking it down , this is what we're gonna do .

123567 .

I make sure I still hold on to the same hands .

She was turning from 123 , half a turn with another half turn 567 .

I let her hand come through my shoulder but then I stop and let her go back .

123 .

Ok .

And that's very simple .

It's kind of like , you know , knowing tai chi or any karate moves , right .

What are you gonna be doing from her hand ?

You can use your wrist and while it's leaving your body , you're gonna rotate it down and up with enough force that the lady floats it back down to your other hand and just make sure that you have this one available .

So she knows to put it back there and from here you can start doing any other combos that you are planning to do because you're always trying to figure out how you're gonna switch those hands .

That's a pretty sleek way , think of other ways to use it .
