Hi and welcome to addicted to salsa dot com .
My name is Anthony and , uh , there's a podcast where we teach you a whole bunch of salsa .
Anyway , today's pattern .
Very simple .
Ok .
We're gonna , of course , do it on one and then of course , later do it on two .
We're gonna start off with a basic step .
123567 .
Now I'm going to give the ladies a aa single turn .
Ok , except I'm going to be holding both hands .
So we come here for 123567 .
And of course , my hands end up being crossed from here .
I'm going to do sort of like a Titanic .
Ok .
Except her hands are still going to be entwined .
And of course , if you don't know what a Titanic is , just go to one of our previous episodes .
Uh , very simple .
We're just going to go forward and open up for a cross by lead , 123 , crossbar lead with turn , except she's going to end up facing that direction .
567 .
Ok .
Now , if you know the Titanic , there's a settling step and this is where we're gonna take our settling step with our left hand and help her settle onto that step to gain momentum to give her that turn coming around .
OK .
Here we go for the 123 .
As you can see after I finish doing that settling step , I raise the hand up and she goes , hm , something's up .
It's most likely because I'm gonna spin her .
OK .
So here on the five , she's gonna start moving 567 .
OK .
After this part , I'm gonna actually gonna take a simple turn and I'm gonna be switching my hands on uh uh from behind .
OK .
She goes , she does 123 .
I've switched my hands .
OK .
Let's just review that one more time .
We're here .
Very simple .
123567123567123567123567123 .
OK .
Yeah , that's right .
Um From here .
Very simple .
I can of course give her a turn .
I think I don't know if that .
Yeah , you can just give her a turn .
I don't remember what I did in the intro uh on 567567 for another turn .
OK .
Now from here you can actually then go underneath and this is not so hard .
It's really more of a magic trick or a visual effect , right ?
I can come here on one kind of make it seem like I'm going to come out of on this side .
And then do 23 to move out of the way .
OK .
Um Looking it from a different angle , right ?
If I'm facing this way and I'm doing , you know , 567 , I can come in for the 123 .
OK .
So it's just a , a little uh guy sting , come here and then come the other way .
OK .
Now for the rest of this move , as I'm here , I did 123 .
All I'm doing is using my right hand to guide her forward .
Ok .
So as her next step is five , she can only go forward as long as I keep the pressure of going forward and straight in the slot , she'll have to follow at the very end .
I'm going to give a slight turn to the right .
So she realizes , oh I should take a small turn to the right .
Of course .
So here we go for the 567 .
Ok .
Now , from a different angle right here , I'm actually gonna do that step .
So we come back on 567123 .
Again , see I'm I'm not grabbing the whole hand .
I'm just using two fingers very light for the 567 .
Ok .
And then we end up 123 .
Ok .
So the whole counts with the pattern .
Here we go with the 123567123567123567123567123567123567123567 .
Now to do it on two .
Very simple .
Well , it's pretty simple .
Yeah , all you do , it's the same pattern .
You're just changing the numbers .
Ok .
And of course you're changing a little bit of the feeling , but we're not going to talk about musicality .
Here .
Here we go .
123567123567123567123567123567123567123567 .
That's it .
