Seafood mac and cheese is easily my top three favorite mac and cheese .
So let's make it as you can see here .
I have all block cheese .
That means shredded .
This is key that shrimp , throw it in that boiling water to cook your pasta and you good to go stir your pasta immediately once you put it in the water , so it will not stick together .
Now , let's season our seafood here .
I have a pound of shrimp and two lobster tails .
I season it with a teaspoon of old bay smoked paprika onion powder , garlic powder and some parsley and I mean season it good .
Y'all know I don't play .
Then I heated up some grapeseed oil in a cast iron skillet and cook my shrimp and my lobster for about 23 minutes each side .
Now , save those for later .
Now , for my mac and cheese sauce , I got three tablespoons of butter and three tablespoons of flour and I mixed it real good until it was completely incorporated and make sure it don't burn .
Then you get two cups of heavy cream .
Then we gonna season that too with two teaspoons of obey two teaspoons of smoked paprika , a teaspoon of garlic powder , a teaspoon of onion powder and a teaspoon of parsley .
And we're gonna mix , mix , mix , mix , mix .
Once the cream get hot and thick like me , you're gonna start adding your cheeses .
Now , you can add half of the grated Parmesan Romano and the grier and add about one third of your cheddar and one third of your mozzarella cheese and we're gonna mix this up .
Now , it's gonna be thick now , I mean thick , but that's ok .
That's how we want it to be .
Once your cheese has melted , turn the heat off .
Now , add your noodle to start mixing and I don't know who need to hear this .
But eggs not going mac and cheese anyways .
Once everything is mixed up , you're gonna go ahead and add your shrimp and your lobster to the pan .
Also add some lump crab .
Trust me on this .
If your shrimp and your lobster don't have no juices with it when you put it in that pan , that means you overcook them .
And don't nobody want no shrimp that taste like you chew on a tire .
Now , mix it up real good .
And if you want to add more cream at this part , you can , if you want to add more cheese , you can as well .
This is where at the other half of my Parmesan and now get you a oven safe bacon dish and know you do not have to spray it with pan , you don't have to put no butter in it .
If your mac and cheese is done correctly , it will not stick to the pan at all .
Now , for that extra cheesy pulled goodness , add one layer of mac and cheese , put some more cheese and add the other layer .
I added more fresh shrimp to make it pretty .
Then I topped it with the rest of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese .
Now put this in the oven on 4 50 until the cheese melts which is like five minutes and then broil it for one more minute .
And when it's all done you get that million dollar seafood mac and cheese .
