Inhale slowly before releasing your breath .
Repeat these 10 times three cobra stretch on a mat , lie on your belly with your legs slightly closer together than shoulder with a part , keeping your hip bone and legs flat on the floor .
Hold your upper body up with your palms .
Depending on your flexibility , your elbows can be bent or locked straight .
Hold this position for three slow breaths , lie down and relax for another three breaths before repeating the stretch .
Three times four , roll over on a mat , lie on your back and keep your arms stretched out at your sides .
Keep your legs together and hold them up at a 90 degree angle from your back , bend your legs backward .
So your toes are touching the area above your head .
If your toes can't reach to the floor , go as far as your flexibility will allow over time you will improve , hold that position for three breaths before going back to your starting position , rest for another three breaths before repeating the stretch three more times .
All these exercises work because of the same reason , generally gravity and poor posture can make people look shorter because their vertebrae are compressed to address that issue .
