Hey , guys , welcome back to another video .
And , uh yeah , so today I'm gonna do a tutorial on how to install and set up your own server .
And this is , of course , on Windows 10 .
You could do this on I believe Linux as well .
Uh , but today we're gonna do Windows 10 .
So to start off , you're gonna need a few programmes .
Uh , you're gonna need wind .
I got the , uh , the website here .
You can look down in the description and download it for yourself .
I'm gonna download the 6 to 4 bit download it .
Everything here is free , by the way .
So except for Minecraft , you gotta pay for that .
Of course .
So we just gonna install this , and when you're done with that , we're gonna close this off .
And , of course , you wanna download java .
So go to the official Java website .
You wanna click here on the download and go down to see all java downloads ?
You're gonna install the windows of line 6 to 4 bit .
If you have a 32 bit java , you're not gonna be able to allocate more than one gigabyte memory to your server .
So we gonna go with this 6 to 4 bit .
I'm gonna launch it and install it .
Right .
So , install , uh , we'll let that install We're gonna go to the the the beast , the website right here for the beast .
And you're not gonna press the big download button .
Gonna go to the classic legacy launcher because the the official ones pretty peepy Yeah , go down here to Windows and install it .
All right , So you're gonna get this .
Um , You could install it wherever you like .
Just make sure it gets installed .
Uh , so we're going to get a , um , feed the bees interface .
That looks like it's from , like a , uh , 2011 flash game .
But that's all right .
All right .
Here you go .
So when you're here , you're gonna go to the , uh , the pack of your choice that you want to make a server of .
In this case , I'm gonna make it off right here .
Infinity evolved , and you gonna go ahead to download server press out now it's gonna install a zip file .
That's what you need the the wind for .
I'll go back to you when this file is downloaded .
So right , so the is installed .
I'm gonna open this with , and you don't want to buy it .
Don't buy wind , get for free .
Right .
So you get all the compressed files there , and you want to go to your desktop or wherever and create a new folder , and he's gonna call it server .
You can name it whatever , but you just want to take everything in this .
Have to be infinity server , whatever your name is or that puts it and just extract it to your folder right now that that's done , we can close off that Open up this new folder .
All right , so we're gonna get this right here .
Um , when I press the , uh , F TV , install the batch file right here to install the , uh , make sure you have all the files necessary , right ?
There you go .
You're gonna get this .
Now we're gonna press the Minecraft server , But before you do that , make sure you go to the and you want to open up , Say , here , when it says you like equals false , you change this false to a true and you save that to close off , and now you can open the craft server .
So we're going to open this with Java Of course , this isn't the , um , the FB server .
It's just a normal micro serving in the version of that game .
But we're gonna do this .
So it's installing correctly , and that's done on the type Stop .
It's gonna close off this .
It's kind of close off eventually , it's probably going faster for you .
But as you can see , we got a lot of new files here , and we're gonna launch the F two B server phone .
But before we do that , we're gonna make a new file .
The text document .
Uh , you can name it wherever you want to .
I just cannot call it have to be server starts .
And as you can see , my piece is dying right now .
What we want to do , I'm gonna open this and we got upside in some Java and GVM arguments .
So we're gonna type in echo off at Echo off .
Make sure it's in that , uh , I'm gonna leave all this in the description below , so you can just paste it in .
But make sure you customise it to your own liking or your own server .
I'm gonna type in Java XMX 4096 megabytes and the XMX is the maximum amount of Ram you want your server to use .
And then we're gonna type in XMX X MS , which is the minimum amount of , um , ram you want to use for your server ?
So I'm gonna set this to 1024 megabytes and no , we want to make sure .
Yeah , we launch this with the batch file , or we're gonna wanna make sure we want to launch this file with our text documents .
So I go and then we're gonna execute this file F to be server .
Um , if it's not exactly this name you can customise it to , however it is .
So it's a dot jar .
Mhm can see a file extensions .
So we've got jar .
I have to be about jar , and then No , wait , no G , I we don't want the , uh the default micro G .
I So , Yeah , we're gonna save that .
Wait .
Actually , we're gonna save that as go down to all farms and save it as a batch file to bat .
There you go .
Close .
Close that off .
So now we got a , uh , service starts .
Now I'm gonna run this , and it's gonna start the , uh , F two V server with the this , uh , JVM arguments .
And this is gonna take a while depending on the size of your mob .
Uh , this particular mug has got , like , I'm pretty sure it's over 100 bolts , so , yeah , it's gonna load all of this .
And in the meantime , I'm also going to Oh , I can't watch that , actually .
All right , who's going to wait for this to load ?
So now the service downloading .
I'm right now .
What colour are you ?
Right .
So right now I'm launching this mod to show you the service actually working .
It's just gonna take a while to load .
So I'll go back to you when I'm in the game .
So we're in the game and the server has loaded , So we're gonna go into multiplayer , and we're gonna add a server .
We're gonna type local host .
Um , now , this server that I'm hosting right now , uh , it's just on the your local machine .
So if you want to be able to play with your friends , you either have to , uh , put forward your router to some SSH method , or you'd have to use a where you simulate a local area network .
Uh , but for this , uh , I might do a future tutorial show now , but right now we're gonna host it on the local machines and see if we can load in and join .
And as you can see , uh , I'm already in creative mode because I I played this before once before , Uh , just trying to serve out .
But as you can see , it's working perfectly normal .
So , yeah , if you like this video , make sure you like and subscribe .
And I might be doing another video on this on how to do it on Linux .
Uh , but yeah , that's for our future video .
Anyway , See you .
