Hello , everyone .
Welcome to Halsey's kitchen .
Gonna be making another batch of pickled sausages .
The first batch I made two or three months ago were just the little cocktail Franks .
These here are gonna be for the superintendent of the building that I work in .
All us guys on the night crew get together and pitch in and we'll , we'll get things going here first .
We need a jar , of course .
And we just start adding the sausages .
Then when you get about half of them in there , you put some crushed red pepper flake , some whole black peppercorn and about three big tablespoons of pickling spice .
Then you add the rest of your sausages .
These are the same thing as Kielbasa .
They're just straight and then you add white vinegar and that's exactly why I bought two things of white vinegar cause I knew one wouldn't be enough .
And then if you want can add just a little bit of water and that's what we got in the end .
And then just to make sure they don't leak all over the place , just use some cellophane cello , whatever you call it or a plastic baggie .
And there you have a big giant jar of pickled sausages .
