How to make Paper flowers Acacia _ Mimosa (Flower # 58)

Materials required are gray paper in bright yellow and dark green in color .

A thick wire for stem , thin wire for tying green , very light green uh floral tape , cotton wool .

And this is colored sand basically used for kids' craft .

This is slightly coarser nature .

All the measurements are in centimeters .

This is a small square that requires to be cut .

This is one centimeter wide and 1.5 centimeter long cut as many as required .

And this is of a leaf .

This is 9.5 centimeter long with a stem of 1.5 centimeter and the width of the leaf is one centimeter and the width of the stem is 0.5 centimeter again , cut as many as required that does take a slightly long uh length of the thin wire .

And uh and of the pipe says the tape and cover the thin wire with this , we'll just roll the tape on the wire and this is how the wire would look like a thin stem .

Now measure pieces of four centimeter long of the wire , four centimeter long and so cut pieces of this thin wire about 10 , 12 pieces per stem for the flowers .

So you make them like this .

I take a little bit of uh cotton wool , very tiny bit , just a wisp actually and roll it on top of the wire pieces that we've got made .

This then take the small square , yellow colored square and stretch it applied glue on it and wrap this on top of the cotton wool covering it entirely and then rolling it up form something like an air bid .

Great .

Now , take this piece that we made , cover it with glue lip relief like a thick layer of blue and then just dunk it into this sand , you roll it so that it's covered totally with it like this .

And this forms the flower of the , achieve the cut a piece of the thin wire about 11 centimeters long and the appropriate length of the green tape , which will cover the whole wire stretched .

Now take one of these uh flowers that we made , hold it on top of the wire like this slightly extending above and then wrap the green tape on it like this , then take another one and hold it slightly lower than the first one .

And the keep on wrapping tape and keep on putting these on the stem all around it .

As we go down , you can put up to 15 or 20 of these flowers on one single wire .

This is how it will look .

Now , just open out these flower heads on all sides of the stem , just pull them out a bit .

Not too much like this .

You take the leaves first , give them a slight curl , very slight curl so that they're sickle shaped like this .

And then with the help of scissors , just coat it in the center to show that we do this with all the leaves .

Now , cut out a long piece of the green for stretch it , then take the thick wire and either you can use any of the single stems .

I've already made two more or you can , I have combined three of these stamps together by putting tape on them on the base .

So I'm putting this on top of the thick wire and then start binding it with the tape .

If you want , you can tie it first with a thin wire and then do this .

So start lining the tape and put a leaf , combine the tape on its base after an inch or so .

Put another of this , these floral stems and go on putting stems of flowers and leaves alternatively .

And this is how the stem would look if you want , you can add more of these or less and increase the length of the stem as per your arrangement of OK .
