What are you holding on to that is no longer serving you ?
Is it a behavior , a belief , an emotion or a certain quality ?
Perhaps it is time to make space for something new , a new way of seeing things and a new way of being .
This is not to make you're past wrong in any way , it is an invitation to make a change as we dance the journey that is our life .
We pick things up that may hold us from growing , experiencing true happiness or being our fully realized version .
Today , we will practice letting go as letting go is just that a practice and it can facilitate profound healing .
I am honored to be your guide for this practice .
Give yourself permission to let go .
Hello and welcome to the mindful movement .
I'm Sarah Raymond .
I invite you to make yourself comfortable , prepare your space to settle in for a wonderfully nourishing night's sleep , close your eyes when you are ready .
Tune in to the area of your heart and ask that this practice and your restorative sleep are in your best interest and in support of your highest good sense that my voice , my energy as well as the universal energy around .
You are all here to support you and letting go .
There is nothing for you to do no thinking or trying relax your physical body and let your thinking mind rest .
When you are ready , allow your awareness to move towards your breath .
Notice the in breath and how that feels .
You are filling this moment with life .
Notice the out breath you are letting go of the moment and moving into the next .
Now as you continue breathing , allow your focus to rest on the out breath .
Each exhale , let go of any tension in your body .
Encourage the letting go of your breath to be slow and long .
Invite each exhale to last a bit longer than the one before it scan for areas that are holding on and give yourself permission to let go of that tension , surrender to gravity , let go of any resistance with every exhale .
Let go and soften deeper and deeper into the support of the surface below you .
Each out breath will expel tension from your body .
Let go of anything you might be holding on to from yesterday or earlier today .
Let go of any to do list that may be taking up space in your mind .
Give yourself permission to be right here right now , being in this moment and letting go of doing , offer yourself permission to let go of the past and by doing so , you give yourself space space for something new space to grow into .
Imagine letting go of any qualities , beliefs or behaviors that are no longer serving you .
They may have served you in some beneficial way at one point .
And now you are ready to let go and call in new qualities , beliefs and behaviors .
Imagine each one of these qualities , beliefs or behaviors that you are ready to let go of is represented by a feather in your mind , place each feather into a flowing river and watch it get carried away downstream .
See that feather get smaller and smaller , being carried further and further down the river until you can no longer see it and it can never again negatively affect you , take your time and let go of anything you are ready to let go of , you can let go of negative thoughts or emotions .
These may be thoughts that interfere with moving towards a higher frequency of living .
Perhaps it is resentment or anger .
It may be shame or guilt , whatever is coming up for you just let it go .
Invite a sense of surrender to this moment .
Invite a sense of trust .

No longer serves you give yourself permission to let go , let go of the thoughts and allow the energy of these emotions to release from your body , allow your body to be light .
And that ease allow a feeling of self love into the space you have created with all that you have .
Let go of notice the sensations in your body from letting go , take a moment to enjoy these sensations , allow yourself to go a little deeper .
Now you have the key to letting go and all you have to do is give yourself permission .

Now as your mind and body have opened up to new ideas , you have cleared some obstacles and made room for your own self healing to happen , you can look inward and support yourself with love .
Give yourself permission to see the gift inside .
Give yourself permission to heal , give yourself permission to move forward .
Take some time now to rest in this newfound awareness , let a sense of lightness wash over your body as if a weight has been lifted .
Notice the subtle changes in your body .
Every cell in your body has a little less grip .
Notice the spaciousness in your mind as you continue to allow your physical body to relax and let go .
Let your thinking mind rest , the sound of my voice and my energy will support your healing tonight .
And long after this recording is over , you can drift to sleep when your mind and body are ready .
And as you drift into sleep , you will continue to experience a peaceful and calm mind and body because you have let go of resistance .
You can invite acceptance and surrender .
As you sleep , continue giving yourself permission to let go .
And as you drift into sleep , my voice will gradually disappear .
Your body and mind will continue to experience this peaceful and calm state .
You are so incredibly relaxed , your mind feels like still and reflective water .
There is an inviting sense of inner peace slowly flowing through your body .
You are now ready to rest your mind for the night .
