DIY Super Clear Slime! How to Make the Clearest Thick Slime Ever

Clear slime is a tricky one .

I just wanted to show you guys how to make the perfect clear slime a new recipe that squishy and I have been using squishy bunny is my man one .

All right , let's get to the clear slime .

Clear slime is so complicated to make .

Ok .

It is the hardest lime to make .

I'm not gonna lie .

It's my least favorite to make .

It takes forever .

You need the right glue .

You need the right everything honey .

So let's just get straight into it .

We've been using this new recipe and it's actually really inexpensive , really inexpensive and it's pretty fun .

Ok .

Starting off with glue , there's different glues that you can make clear slime with .

Ok .

Listen , Elmer's , I love you .

I really do .

I really do .

It's just that with the clear glue gallons , what I've noticed is that it has a yellow tint to it .

People like to use a quart size clear elms uh to get like the really clear one , but for some reason , the gallons have a tint to them .

And if you're in the community , a lot of people know that if you didn't now , you know , what do you not really sure how I pronounce this one , but this is not sponsored .

I promise this is like really cheap when you're signed up to Deri account or de Rice .

I'm not sure how to pronounce it .

It's $8 .

This one's about 20 to $30 depending on where you find it .

But somebody actually had commented on one of squishy videos that this was a good glue .

They recommended .

This is what we've been using lately and I know a lot of people love to use the quart size for the because it's super clear .

But I feel like this is also as clear as it can get .

Even the qut size one is more expensive than this honey you are deal and I don't even think you know how good this is because this is a steel .

All right , we have a container here .

I am using a big container and honestly with making clear slime .

The first tip I want to give you with making clear slime is use the biggest container possible to store it in .

Um You probably don't need this big of a size to make the slime because it's only a gallon , but it's going to sit in here anyway .

So by the way , I biggest , I don't mean the deepest , biggest .

No , the whitest you want as much surface space as possible because that way the bubbles are actually going to rise faster .

So if you put it in something like this compared to something like this , that one's going to take much longer to clear the bubbles out .

That's my biggest tip with clearing your slime fast .

Look at that .

I mean that's pretty clear .

I mean , I know that the Elmer Court one is super clear , but this is really clear like this is clear .

OK ?

This is the thick , thick slime .

You know what I mean ?

This is gonna make you some thick , good quality slime .

Another quick tip with getting your glue out faster is cutting a hole at the top to get some air flow in there .

Ask for help sweetie because you don't want to hurt yourself in my past clear slime video .

I don't even think I've done a video dedicated to clear slime .

Clear slime has been around for like ever .

You know , I still get this question all the time .

How do you get slime so clear ?

You know , last time I ever made clear slime and explained like how to make it ?

I said to add water because it would clear faster .

It's true because it's not as thick and the bubbles rise faster , but I like my slime really thick .

Ok ?

But yes , you can add water and it actually will speed up .

The process is about two times like literally , but I want my slime as thick as possible .

So if you want a really good , thick , clear slime , do not add water .

The only water you can add is the one in your activator .

And we have our activator .

Then all you have to do is shake it up and you get a perfect fluffy slime .

You'll need a small plastic bottle , a marker pen , some peel off face masks or P VA glue contact lens solution and baking soda .

Start by cutting off and removing the label .

This method works great with any type of bottle .

As long as it has a fairly flat base first , take your index and middle fingers and measure out the distance from the base just like this , then take your pinky finger and mark out a second line above the one you just drew .

Next , you can also add food coloring or glitter and lastly finish with half a teaspoon of baking soda .

The chemical reaction will start as soon as the baking soda hits the mixture .

So be sure to replace the lid as fast as you can and start shaking the bottle to mix everything thoroughly .

This diy was inspired by one of my recent videos where I made butter using the same method .

Shaking a bottle is a much quicker alternative to mixing and it also introduces lots of air into the mixture .

This automatically gives you a very soft and fluffy slime .

If all goes well , then you should feel the slime start to plump together and pull away from the size of the bottle .

If this doesn't happen , then I've also included some common problems that you might have at the end of this video and how to fix them .

Once the slime is ready , just unscrew the cap and squeeze everything out .

As mentioned earlier , all that shaking creates lots of air bubbles that makes the texture soft and stretchy .

This is great fun to play with .

And if you have a straw , then you can even create slime bubbles like this .

The size of the bottle is actually not that important in this diy .

As you can see the bubbles are starting to rise at the top leaving a layer of perfect clear slime at the bottom .

This still needs a few more days to turn completely transparent .

But since I was running out of time filming this video , I'm just going to cut the bottle open right now to show you how it looks .

You can make this line using any type of clear peel off face mask or clear P VA glue .

And now let's move on to some troubleshooting tips .

This diy might look simple , but it actually took a lot of experimenting and fails before I came up with the final recipe .

Here are some problems that I came across and how you can fix them .

If you start shaking the bottle and the mixer turns foamy and frothy like this , then you've added too much baking soda .

Let's get into the sign it .

You , you can see where your nails were .

That is hilarious .

Yeah , and that's how I make a super clear slime .

You just need to get rid of all the foam and the slime itself is probably slightly over activated , but it should still be ok to play with .

If you decide to make the slime a second time , be sure to add less baking soda .

The second problem that might come up is when your mixture looks like liquid .

Even after lots of shaking , this means that it's under activated and you can easily fix this by unscrewing the lid and adding a tiny bit more contact lens solution or slime activator , then shake it again and you should start feeling the mixture start to clump together .

If it still feels liquid , then unscrew the lid and add a tiny pinch of baking soda .

However , this should be the last option since baking soda can easily over activate your mixture .

If your slime still isn't working , then double check that you're actually using the correct ingredients , not all brands of glue contain P VA .

So that's the most common reason why slimes fail .
