How to make Paper Flowers Bird Of Paradise_ Strelitzia (Flower # 46)

Hi .

Today we're gonna learn how to make bird of paradise .

A very exotic and very beautiful flower .

The material required are gray papers and dark green , bright orange and white green floor tape , a thick wire , thin wire , a bright pink pencil color pencil , some tissue paper and cotton wory cut stencils according to the pattern .

Given all the measurements are in centimeter .

This is petal A , this is 11 centimeter by three centimeter .

The stem is two centimeter long and the width of the stem is one centimeter .

Petal B is 11 centimeter again height and two centimeters time length and the width is 2.5 centimeter .

This is of the uh third petal .

The purple colored one , the length is 10 centimeter stem length is two centimeter and the width is 2.5 centimeter .

The fourth pedal is three centimeter .

The stem is two centimeter and the width is 1.5 .

This is off a leaf sorry the uh the Bratt not the leaf .

This is 20 centimeters long and 5.5 centimeter wide .

And the width of the stem is three centimeter .

Take the white green paper and cut a very thin strip of it about one millimeter wide and about three inches long like this .

Now apply glue on the strip and roll it to form the steamer .

Apply blue all along this and roll this in your fingers like this to form the statement , I'll let it dry and it will become nice and stiff .

Take the purple colored petal which is shaped like an arrow .

This is essentially two petals of the flower which are stuck together , apply glue in the center and stick the statement that we've made on it in the center and let this dry .

Take the BP and fold it in half , open it out and apply glue on the crease and fold it again to stick the crease .

I'll let this dry again , fold the two A pedals in half , give it a strong full press hard so that you get a strong freeze like this .

And similarly on the second one , now take the two A pedals and put them , put one inside the other on the crease , then put the pedal paddle shape uh petal .

Then the arrow shape , the statement should be facing the paddle shape pedal .

And then the last petal , the one which we stuck at the crease , open the crease at the bottom on the stem and then put it like that and then tie all of them on the stand .

Now just open out the A petal a bit just push it open and now we're gonna make the uh the brat .

Now take the thick wire and leaving about 34 inches from the top .

Fold the wire blend it at uh less than 90 degrees angle .

Now , take the two flowers , I've already made one other flu and uh put it about one inch away from the bend like this on the wire and tie the or wind the thin wire around the thick wire make this and then take the second floor and put this at the same place .

Now apply glue on the wire .

The one which is projecting out and stick some cotton wool on it .

Take the leaf and with the pink pencil first on the bottom side of the leaf , uh color it with pink should be nice , bright pink in color and then along the sides almost to the tip .

So this should be on both the sides .

After coloring it pink like this make a slit at the center of the base about a half an inch .

Long and then apply glue on the leaf all along the edge and stick this on the stem , start from the curve and then stick the breath the leaf on the stem over the cotton and stick the edges .

Now open out the leaves , the petals shape them a bit like this .

Apply glue .

There would be a little white patch here .

So apply glue here first and wind the green tape on it and all the the rules of the 10 and this is how the finished flower looks .
