Chickpeas or chana is one in green , which is rich in proteins and nutrients .
There are several recipes made using chickpeas today .
I'm gonna show you guys a very delicious and simple chickpeas Biyani .
That is chana biryani .
But we're gonna do a lovely chana dumb Biryani .
Let's get started and check out the recipe first .
I'm gonna soak the bass rice .
I've taken a one cup of basti rice .
It's a MC wash it and soak it in water for about 30 minutes .
I've soaked 200 g of chickpeas overnight .
So these are soft chickpeas number .
Pressure cook them , pressure cook for about 4 to 5 whistles on medium flame .
The chickpeas are cooked perfectly .
Keep them aside .
I'm gonna fry a few onions for the dumb Brian for the steak .
A pan , add a little oil .
So if the onions are nice and thinly sliced , fry them till they're a nice golden brown color .
So fry the onions till they're a nice golden brown color .
Turn off the stove , remove the onions from the pan and keep them aside to the same pan .
Add a little oil .
About two teaspoons , add half teaspoon of Kashmiri .
Red chili powder .
Keep the flame on low , about quarter teaspoon of salt .
Next , I'm gonna roast some baby potatoes .
You can also use large potatoes , boil them and cut them into pieces .
The potatoes are roasted beautifully .
You can see they have a nice golden brown color .
It's roasted on all sides .
Turn off the stove and keep them aside .
I'm gonna cook the basil the rice , take a pot , add enough water .
Once the water starts boiling , add the whole spices have been so surprised .
Add qualities full of salt , cook the rice till it's 34 done .
The rice is 3/4 cooked , strain it and keep it aside .
Now I'm gonna make the chana curry for this .
Take two teaspoons of and two teaspoons of oil makes them wanna add the whole spices .
Add one onion , thinly slice two green chilies , finely chopped to this .
I'm gonna add half a piece of ginger garlic paste .
Next add two tomatoes finely chopped .
After two minutes , I quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder .
Two teaspoons , Kashmiri red chili powder , one teaspoon cumin powder , one teaspoon masala , add a teaspoon of salt .
Next thing we'll add half cup of curd .
Now whisk the curd nicely .
So you can see it's nice and creamy before pouring it in .
Cook the masala till the oil separates the masala is cooked very nicely .
The oil is beginning to separate and I'm gonna add the cooked Shana along with the water .
Let the curry boil for about five minutes .
The gravy is thicken , beautifully .
Add a handful of mint leaves , a handful of chopped coriander leaves , makes it well , turn off the stove and keep it aside .
I've taken a deep pot to cook the Biyani in them .
The first layer is the chana curry .
I've kept the flame on low , just level it .
Next , I'm gonna layer it with some cooked rice .
Place the potatoes .
I'm just gently gonna press the potatoes in .
Add a few fried onions , add the remaining rice , add two teaspoons of g , add a few fried onions on top .
Add a few mint leaves , seal the pot .
You can either use chapati dough or a foil paper .
The lid fits perfectly into the pot I'm using .
So I'm not gonna seal it on the sides .
I'm just going to close this , leave it on them for about 15 minutes on low .
The dumb biryani is done .
Turn off the stove .
I'm gently gonna start mixing the biryani from the sides so that you don't break the rice .
So there you go .
Here is this absolutely delicious chana or chickpeas , dumb Biryani ?
Uh You can enjoy this with some by the side and the addition of potatoes is optional .
If you do want to , you can add them or you can do it without the potatoes .
