This is cooking with Doug and today I'm with my cook essentials , air fryer .
And I'm gonna make me some air fryer mac and cheese .
OK ?
Guys , I already boiled my macaroni and now I'm just gonna pour it in my calendar real quick .
All right , since some of y'all claim I don't have a stove , I'm gonna use my stove top today real quick .
About to pour in some half and half .
Not too much .
I'm gonna put some butter in there .
It's about that much .
Not too much .
Put some Parmesan cheese in there , some salt .
Not too much pepper .
I use a little bit of black cheese .
You can use velvet Velveeta .
This is not Velveeta .
I think this is a Walmart cheese .
This was in my refrigerator .
I had some Velveeta in my freezer .
I forgot to take it out .
So this is just gonna have to do .
I'm not gonna , I'm not gonna use too much of it .
This is all I'm using and just drop it in there .
Boom .
Mix it around till it all melt .
I'm gonna go ahead and dump the macaroni in then put my shirt , cheddar cheese .
In there .
Also gonna add some five cheese to it as well .
Yeah .
Make sure it's salty enough to your liking .
Cheesy enough to your liking .
This is just an experiment guys .
I don't know if this is gonna work , but I bought this pan right here .
Um from the dollar tree .
These are the , the dimensions of it .
It's only a dollar .
So my goal is I want to make macaroni and cheese , but I wanna make less amounts .
Cheese is not bad for you guys , but eating a lot of it is bad .
So if I could eat like two spoonfuls of it because I usually , I only make like a pan of mac and cheese like a big pan , a regular size pan .
So this is obviously way smaller , which is good .
Almost forgot to spray the pan so it doesn't stick .
All right , let's try .

I don't know if all of it is gonna fit .

I got my air fryer right here and what I'm gonna do is just plop this container right on it black so fits perfectly .

I'm gonna do 3 60 .
I'm gonna do 3 60 for , I don't know , 10 minutes and see what happens .
I don't know what's gonna happen , but let's see what happens .
All right guys , I hear it bubbling and I smell it so I'm gonna take it off .
At six minutes .
Let's see what we're working with .
I let it shut off by itself .
All right .
Just open it up and see what we got .
Oh , man , that looks good .
It actually looks better than what you're seeing in real life .
So , what we know so far four minutes did the trick .
We didn't have to do it .
10 minutes at 3 60 .
4 minutes at 3 60 is plenty .
All right .
Let me get my spoon out and let's try some .
Now this is an amount for two or three days , which is a healthy portion .
Um for me , put some in a bowl right here .
Get some right there .
I'm gonna taste it for you guys .

And that's kind of the sample of macaroni and cheese that I would want to eat with my dinner .
That portion .
That's a healthy portion for me .
And that's what's gonna have to work for me these days .
So let me zoom in a little so you can see it .

It is cheesy , but you know , you don't see cheese strings all over the place .

So other people can see including me because I just tried , I just started this , this morning .
I work from home and I said before I went to work , I went to the dollar tree , bought the pan and I said for lunch , I'm gonna try and make some mac and cheese in a smaller portion .
And look , I did it and just for some of you guys that wanna actually try it just the way I did it .
I put my half and half to about this mark right here , right .
I put my um no , I'm sorry , not the half and half .
I put the macaroni the dry .
Um I put the dry macaroni elbows to about here .
I put my half and half to about , it's right there and I did the um salt and pepper to my liking .
Um You saw me add the cheese .
Um I would recommend you do Velveeta cheese because it sticks , helps the macaroni for some reason , stick better than other cheeses .
Um I added a little bit of butter but you saw all of that .
So it didn't take much to do .
Like I said , this is about , I guess a three day portion for me .
Um You know , and this it takes less to do um less cheeses to make less milk to make .
So this is something that you know , that you can make all the time if you needed to .
