Today we are going to make chicken Biryani in pressure cooker .
This is one of the easiest and the tastiest way of making chicken biryani .
Let's start off with making biryani masala .
I always prefer to use freshly ground biryani masala to get a very good flavor and aroma .
So now dry roast one bay leaf , four close one star , one maize , one in cinnamon stick , four cardamom , one teaspoon of fennel seeds , one teaspoon , cumin seeds , half teaspoon of peppercorns and also add two teaspoons of coriander seeds and roasted for a couple of minutes on a medium heat .
Now I'm going to turn off the heat and transfer this to a blender and grind it to a fine powder .
Now , the masala for our Biryani is ready , you can make this in large quantity and store it in an added container and you can use it later .
And now to make Biryani , I have taken two tablespoons of oil and two tablespoons of homemade gin that is clarified butter .
This adds richness to our bii .
Now let's heat some oil , followed by oil , add some ge and the whole spices bay leaf caramel closet and then add one sliced for add some salt and saute until the onions are golden brown .
The onions are nice and dr now to this add three green chilies , one tablespoon of ginger paste and one tablespoon of garlic paste .
And after the ra smell of ginger garlic paste is gone .
I'm going to add the masala and half teaspoon of turmeric powder .
The freshly grown biryani masala powder also add 1 to 2 tablespoons of chili powder depending on a spice preference .
And then add the tomatoes , one sliced tomato .
We don't want any tomato chunks in our Biyani .
So cook until everything turns into a paste .
Now the mixture is ready .
Add some mint leaves , some coriander leaves , mix it once .
Now I'm going to add yogurt , half cup of yogurt and mix it again .
Now let's add the chicken pieces .
Today , I've taken 500 g of chicken , used chicken with bone for biryani and I have taken two cups of bass rice that is 400 g of bass rice and I have soaked it in water for 30 minutes and I have drained the water completely .
Now , let's add the chicken pieces .
Mix it well and cook for 5 to 6 minutes .
Now , chicken is 50% done .
Now , let's add water .
So for two cups of basmati rice , we need three cups of water .
After mixing everything .
I'm going to add the basmati rice .
Now check for salt if required add some salt .
Perfect .
Now , let's cover the cooker , cook it for one whistle on a medium heat and after a whistle , turn off the heat and let it stand for 15 more minutes .
Now , I'm going to open the lid .
Perfect .
Wow , the rice and the pieces are perfectly cooked .
