Biryani are something that we always enjoy .
And I've made several biryani and this recipe was a much requested recipe .
This is vegetable biryani .
Let's get started and check out the recipe .
I've taken one cup of long grain basmati rice .
So the one cup measurement is a 2 50 m cup .
Wash it a few times and soak it in water for about 15 minutes .
I'm just gonna make a quick simple masala paste for this .
Taken three Kashmiri red chilies , two green chilies , three cloves of garlic , a piece of ginger that's cut up two teaspoons , chopped onions .
A few mint leaves and a few coriander leaves .
Add a little water and grind it into a nice fine paste .
This is gonna be your masala paste for the Brian .
Take a pressure cooker once it's hot , add three teaspoons of be for this .
I'm gonna add a series of whole spices starting with one piece of cinnamon , three caramel , one piece of maize , few clothes , one daily , a small piece of stone flour .
Now this is optional .
Does this add two medium size onions , finely chopped for the onions to be a nice golden color once the onions are a golden color .
Add the ground masala paste , cook it for about 2 to 3 minutes till the raw smell goes .
If you feel the masala is too dry , then you can add two teaspoons of oil and then continue to saut it once the raw smell of the masala is gone .
Add two tomatoes finely chopped , cook the tomatoes till they're nice and mushy .
I'm adding quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder .
I'm adding two teaspoons of salt .
You can adjust the salt according to your taste .
Next thing we add quarter cup of thick curd , don't cook for about two minutes .
So I'm gonna add all the vegetables starting with one large potato chopped .
Next , add one carrot , chopped about 6 to 7 beans , chopped one bowl of Cali fluorid .
Quarter up fresh peas , cook the vegetables in the masala for about five minutes while making Biryani .
I usually add a few mint leaves and coriander leaves to give it a nice flavor .
Now I'm going to add the basmati rice .
This has been soaking for 15 minutes .
Remove the water and add the rice .
Don't mix the rice too much , gently , mix it because you don't want to break the rice .
Finally add two cups of water .
Now that we've added all the ingredients for the Biryani , check for seasoning .
So I'm gonna add a little salt , try to cook on medium flame for about two whistles .
After two wizards turn off the stove and let the Biyani rest in the pressure cooker for about 15 minutes before you open it .
So as you can see , this is a great lunch box recipe .
You can enjoy this with some nice onion writer or some gravy by the side .
