Today's recipe is a very simple yet delicious biryani .
And I'm gonna make this with potatoes .
It's a dumb biryani .
So let's get started and check out the ingredients first wash and soak 200 ml of long green bar milk rice for 30 minutes .
Take a sauce pan , add two tablespoons of oil .
I'm going to fry two large onions , thinly sliced , saute them till you get a nice golden brown color .
The onions are nice and brown .
Turn off the stove and keep them aside .
These are boiled baby potatoes , remove the skin .
I'm gonna roast these to the same pan .
Add a little more oil and now I'm going to roast the baby potatoes , roast them till they get a nice golden color .
I'm just gonna season this pot .
A teaspoon of turmeric powder .
A little salt turn off the stove and keep the potatoes aside .
The waters come to a boil at the soak price .
I'm gonna add all these whole spices to the rice .
Staron cardamom cinnamon , clove and Bailey , add a taste full of salt and cook the rice , strain the rise and keep it aside , soak a little saffron and warm milk .
Now I'm going to make a masala for this .
You need one clove of garlic and a piece of ginger .
Two green chilies , two red chilies , a handful of coriander leaves and a handful of fresh mint leaves .
Add some fresh curd about one tablespoon and grind everything together .
Take a nice white sauce pan , add about 2 to 3 teaspoons of g , add whole spices , bay leaf , cloves , caramel and cinnamon .
To this .
Add three small tomatoes chopped , cook for two minutes and add the ground masala paste seasoned with a little salt .
Cook the masala paste til the raw smell .
After about 2 to 3 minutes , add the roasted potatoes .
Next , add half of the fried onions , check for seasoning at this point .
If you have to add a little salt , you can add the masala come together beautifully , reduce the flame to a low .
And now I'm gonna layer it with the rice .
This rice is about 90% cooked .
Just going to layer that on top .
Add the saffron milk are the rest of the fried onions on top .
Leave it on done for about seven minutes after 7 to 8 minutes , turn off the store .
