How To Stop Minecraft Forge From Crashing - Full Guide

in this video , I'm gonna show you how to fix and stop Minecraft forge crashing .

All the fixes and let's go and get straight into it .

Here we are on my desktop , and this guide is going to work on all types of versions of computers .

It's a very similar concept .

So all you want to do is go and open up the Minecraft launcher .

So I'm gonna go and find it by clicking on magnifying glass and then just go and click on Minecraft launcher .

But you can go and search for it if you like .

Um , but as long as you go and open up the launcher , then wait a moment for it to load , and then all you want to do is make sure you've got Forge selected .

And as you can see , it's really important to note the forge , um , version you've got .

As you can see in this case , I've got 4 to 1.17 0.1 .

Now all you want to do is come back to your keyboard and go and press on the Windows key and the R button on your keyboard and it's gonna go launched something called Run !

And all you want to do is go and type in something called percentage app Data percentage and then go and press .

OK , it's going to take a moment to load and then it's going to go and bring your file explorer up into the APP data folder and what you want to do is go and find Minecraft .

So as you can see , it's gonna be dot Minecraft .

It's right at the top .

So all you want to do is go and double click on it , just like so .

Then once you're in it , then all you want to do is go and click on mots .

Then it's going to show you all the modes you have on Minecraft .

Now it's really important to know is is that as you can see , I've got a mod in here installed from 1.18 when I'm running for for 1.17 .

Therefore , this is gonna cause a conflict , and it's gonna go and crash .

And this is going to apply , even if you using an older mod as well or a newer mode in this case as well .

But something really important to know is that just because a mod says it's 1.18 you here doesn't mean there's actually coded for Minecraft 1.18 .

It's very easy just to go and edit the file name just like so , and you can go and make it say , any version of Minecraft you like .

So if it's crashing , it's likely that someone's mislabeled this or label it wrongly on purpose .

I don't know , Um , but all you want to do is go and delete any more you've recently added , because they're likely to be causing a region of the crash .

Otherwise , you can just go and delete all the more to just temporarily move them out and go and see if they're going to go .

If that goes to fix the problem and then slowly go and add them on like one by one , and then go and see which one is going to go and cause the crash and then once you've done that , you should be able to go and launch Forge absolutely fine by kicking play .

However , if it still isn't working , then what's worth doing is just going and reinstalling Forge completely .

And my That still doesn't fix the issue .

So all you need to do is head to the Forge website .

So go to Google and search your forge just like so and then go to files dot Minecraft forge dot net .

Go and click here .

Then you'll have all the different versions of Minecraft .

You can go and get Forge for , and you can go and download the installer and go and run it , and that should go and fix the problem .

And like I said , if it doesn't just go and red , download Minecraft and reinstall it .
