How To Download Apps On Mac

Hey , everyone .

This is Andrew from Tech Talk .

I'm going to be showing you today how to download apps off of a Mac laptop .

All right .

So you have a Mac laptop and you need to download certain apps .

Some apps will be able to be downloaded from Safari or Google Chrome , whatever web browser that you choose to use .

Um But we're going to talk about mac specific apps , apps that Apple themselves have either created or Condoned through their app store .

All right .

So we're going to get to the app store again , there's a couple of different ways of doing that .

What you're gonna do is you're just going to come down to your toolbar right here .

You notice that right here .

You're going to have the App store , you're going to go ahead and press that button and that's going to pull up the app store .

Now , this has a bunch of apps that you can download right from their featured page right here .

You can look at their featured page , the top charts want to know which ones are actually being downloaded the most to see the categories that you can download in or even apps that you have purchased in the past .

All right , you can update all of your apps as well right here .

But we're going to assume that you know what app you want and you can go ahead over here and search .

So let's say you want to download whats app .

Ok .

One of the most popular messaging apps in all of social networks .

So you're gonna see the app right here .

All right , we're gonna press get and then once you press that it's gonna let you install it .

Now , if you have to pay , you would have to put in your log in information for that .

But since this is a free app , you're just going to install that .

All right .

So we're gonna wait for this to install and now that it's installed , you'll see the open tab , you can press open here or you can go down to your applications right here .

You'll see that it has downloaded to your applications .

You can press whatsapp right there or again , you could have pressed open over there .

Now , you're going to have to pull it up on your mobile app as well and be able to sync that so you can actually log in .

But as you'll see right here , the app is downloaded once we would log in , everything would function as normal .

All right .

So that's an example with one app , there's so many other apps .

So feel free to search any right there .

Check out some of the feature , the top charts , the categories and make sure to be updating your apps occasionally as well through the app store .
