How to Create a YOUTUBE Channel _ A Complete Beginner's Guide

How do you create a youtube channel ?

Especially as a company .

You want to create a so called brand channel .

How do you do that ?

I'll explain it in this video .

Hello and welcome to the tube youtube channel .

I'm from Z youtube and on youtube , there are two different kinds of channels .

There are the regular youtube channels and then there are the so-called brand channels .

The benefits of a brand channel are that you can have access from multiple accounts and you can choose your own custom name and don't need to use your first and surname like a regular youtube channel .

It can be moved later but comments and your car URL might be lost .

So I would start and create a brand channel from the beginning on I will show you two options .

First of all , how do you create a youtube channel ?

If you don't even have a Google account and second option , how do you create a youtube channel if you already have an existing Google account ?

Ok .

So we're on youtube and let's look at the first case we don't have a Google account yet .

Let's create one .

We click on sign in and that brings us to this page .

Now , we need to click on create account and this brings up two options for myself to manage my business here .

You choose the one that fits for you .

We'll do a business account here .

First you put in your name and I just use an example name .

You will obviously use your own name here and then you put in your email address , I would use an existing one .

But if you don't have one and you want to create one , you can go and create a Gmail account .

Instead , I would recommend to create a special email address for youtube .

But as you can share your youtube account with as many people as you want to , that's not absolutely necessary .

Then put in a password and click on next .

Now you need a telephone number and this part is absolutely necessary .

You can't get around this one .

So you need to put in a real telephone number here to make sure that you're an actual person , not a bot .

Now , I got a text message from Google and I put this number that I got in here to confirm that I'm an actual person .

Now , we see a page with additional information , your phone number and recovery email address are optional , but you need to put your birthday in here .

Let's put some kind of birthday in here .

And uh we need to choose our gender .

Let's do male and then click on .

Next , next stage are the privacy and terms read through them and after you've read through them , uh yeah , you need to agree to them and click on create an account .

Now you need to confirm that you're ok with getting personalized ads .

If you want to get deeper into that , click on more options .

Otherwise just confirm it and that's it .

The first part is done .

You get back to the page you were on before you clicked on sign in .

Now we click on sign in again and we should be automatically signed into the new account .

Now , we need to create the youtube channel itself to do that .

We click on this button and then on your channel , this brings us to this page and this is pretty much the most important step that you can get wrong .

If you don't follow this tutorial , don't just put your name in here and click on create channel because this gets you just a regular youtube account .

If you want a business , a so called brand account , click on this little phrase , use a business or other name .

If we click on there , we get to a totally new page and here we see brand account name .

That's what we want to have here .

We put in the name that our youtube channel should have .

So very important .

The name we put in here , everyone be will be able to see this name afterwards .

So make sure to put it in correctly .

So we put in our youtube name and click on create and that's it .

We get redirected to our new youtube channel and we have created our first own youtube channel .

But how do you create a youtube channel if you already have a Google account ?

Because you use Google Drive or Gmail or whatever .

If you want to create a youtube channel with an existing account , click on your little icon up here and then you click on switch account here .

You have this button , more accounts and this brings us to this page and here we have the button , create a new channel .

If we click on there , we get this page again where we can put in our channel name and create the new youtube channel .
