Realistic Miniature Waffles - Polymer Clay Tutorial

Hey guys .

Today's tutorial is for these easy to make waffles .

Start off with a sheet of scrub clay and cut out a square .

I stack two layers , but you don't have to do this .

Roll out a thinner sheet and cut out some tiny squares .

I then tapped on some liquid clay and added them to the first layer .

You really only need to make it four by four squares .

So please don't ask me why I made it five by four when you're done , bake it for 10 to 15 minutes and roll out a light do car , then brush on some corn or potato starch to the mold stick , use your blade an exact knife to trim off any excess .

You'll also want to mess up the shape a bit to make it less perfect looking .

Then use a needle tool to rough it up and add some texture .

As always , I'm using software styles for the shading and pre bake the waffles for a few minutes after baking , I added some brown acrylic paint .

I also use my knife to create some highlights by removing some of the pastel shading .

Then bake seal with glace and your tan .
