I did briefly talk about this in a past video , but in this video , I will be doing an e laboratory review and we will also tell you the different websites to get these jobs , including how much you get paid when you get paid and the modes of payment just trap in and remember to give this video a thumbs up so it can reach all the people who need this information .

So what is user testing user testing is a type of online job where you get paid to test the usability and functionality of websites , apps and other digital products .

And no , it's not as difficult as it sounds .

Here is how it works .

Companies and brands usually want to know how normal users find their websites and mobile apps .

For instance , a company like Facebook or is it meta now would like to know whether Facebook is easy to use in terms of uploading pictures and videos , adding captions , searching for people on Facebook , joining Facebook groups and the likes .

So they look for people to use the platform and give them feedback which they then use to improve the platform .

These people are called user testers and they get paid for each test they do .

Each user testing platform has its own pages .

And I will tell you about that shortly .

So you are probably wondering , but I don't have any testing experience .

You don't need previous user testing experience .

In fact , most user testing websites prefer to work with people who are completely green because they are able to give them like raw and genuine feedback .

What I know is that they don't really care about your grammar or how perfectly you are speaking , they just want you to express yourself self genuinely and give them information they can use to improve the user experience of their platforms or websites or apps .

So don't worry about perfect grammar and speaking English fluently .

You only need to follow instructions and put your mind in the task .

You also don't need special equipment to work for most of the user testing websites .

I know you can do the tests on your smartphone , laptop , tablet or desktop , whichever you have though in my experience having more than a smartphone does give you access to more tests because it is my understanding that some tests cannot really be done on phone .

But if a phone is all you have and be sure to make good use of it , there are very many user testing companies that pay people to test and I will be listing some of them here .

Most of these companies accept user testers from all around the world , but there are those that are very specific on the locations they hire from .

And it's worth noting that the tests you get will depend on your demographic data that is where you are located , your age , gender , employment status , income level ec you have to fit the criteria of the users , the brands or companies are looking for in order to be accepted to do a test or to be eligible for a test .

Now , let's take a deep dive into the website so you can get user testing jobs as we do that .

The first testing company on the list is obviously user testing dot com .

You will need a device with a microphone to work on user testing dot com and make sure your browser is either Chrome Firefox or Microsoft edge .

And you don't pay to do testing jobs on user testing dot com .

But you will be required to pass a short practice test before you are accepted .

Once your test is approved , you'll start getting test tasks .

The amount you earn for each test depends on the test , but they do show you how much you will earn for each test .

So if you are on your dashboard , maybe on your computer or on your phone , you will see the tests available or the ones that you are eligible for .

And then next to that test , you will see the amount that you will earn .

If you do that test , some tests pay $10 others , $30 others pay even $90 .

So it really depends on the test itself and you only get paid if your test is reviewed and approved .

So you have to do a very good job in order to get paid , they only pay via paypal seven days after doing the test .

The second user testing platform on this list is Playbook QX .

It's somehow similar to user testing dot com .

You have to pass a practice test to start working and earning money on Playbook QX .

How much you earn also depends on the kind of tasks you take .

There are three types of tests you can do on playbook QX .

One is the un moderated testing where you record your screen and is your thoughts ?

You earn $10 for each un moderated testing .

Two is the moderated testing where you jump into a Zoom meeting or a zoom call with a researcher for a 30 minute session .

You will earn $30 and you will earn 100 and $20 for a two hour session .

Three is card sorting and three testing .

These are unrecorded , short exercises that earn you $2 per exercise and you get paid via paypal eight days .

After completing a test , please note that it take you more than seven days or eight days to get paid because it really depends on how long the client that is the brand or the company takes to approve your test .

So it can be more than eight days that is for Playbook QX or it can be more than seven days for user testing dot com .

So that is something you should anticipate .

The third website is Trema U I which I have mentioned on this channel before .

They require their user testers to be good at following instructions and voicing their thoughts as well as be able to write clear and detailed summaries while answering the questions they ask at the end of a test .

Now you get paid $10 for each test and try .

My U I pays user testers every Friday via paypal user testing platform .

Number four is for protection .

They also pay users to test websites and mobile apps from the comfort of their homes .

You must be at least 16 years old to register at for protection and just like user testing dot com .

And the other platform I have mentioned , you will be required to pass a practice test before you can start working and they call their tests missions .

So it's actually the same thing .

The complexity of a mission determines the amount of money you will earn for me .

So you can earn $10.15 dollars or $20 for a mission .

You get paid at the end of each month , either the last Friday of the month or the last day of the month .

If your balance is more than €20 which is 21 US D and they pay us a test us via paper or gift cards .

Platform number five is us alys and just like for you have to be at least 16 years old to register at us alys .

You might be required to take a practice test before you get started on us alys .

So register with an open mind .

Once you start testing , your work will be reviewed and you'll get paid .

Once the tests are approved , you can earn anything between $5.90 dollars .

It all depends on the tests to perform the complexity of it .

You are paid once every 15 days via paypal .

Remember this might vary , please note that user testing is mostly something people do on their side and not as a full time online job .

This is because the amount of money you make will probably not be enough for all your needs .

And just because people are making money online doing user testing jobs does not mean that you will make money as well .

It's not a guarantee what works for other people might actually not talk for you , but you will never know until you try .
