How to Download Minecraft on PC & Laptop - Install Minecraft Java Edition

How to download Minecraft on a PC or laptop .

Welcome to another Gaging Gadgets Windows tutorial video .

In this video .

I'm gonna show you how to easily download and install Minecraft on your PC or laptop .

So if you're trying to play Minecraft on your computer in this tutorial , I'll show you how to do that .

All right .

So to get started , the first thing we need to do is simply open up a browser on our PC or laptop and then just navigate to Minecraft dot net .

Check the description , I'll also have a link down there so you can click that Minecraft dot net is the official website of Minecraft .

So this is where we need to go to be able to download it safely .

Once we get to Minecraft dot net , what we wanna do is just go up on the top , right .

Select get Minecraft and then we just need to select what device we're playing on .

As you can see , you can also do this on mobile phones , consoles or other devices .

We're gonna be selecting computers so that we can install it on our PC or laptop .

Once we select computer , it'll take us to the different options for purchasing Minecraft on our PC .

Keep in mind , you can also scroll down .

And if you want to try the free trial version of Minecraft , you can select this and then go through the process of downloading the Windows version for your computer and you'll be able to try Minecraft for free .

Keep in mind this is only a trial version .

But if you're not interested in the free trial , you'll have two options to purchase the game , the deluxe collection or the base game .

I'm just gonna get the base game .

Once you get here , you'll need to enter payment information so that you can purchase Minecraft .

And then just simply select , buy , once you purchase Minecraft , we'll then need to select download for windows .

Then we just need to save the Minecraft installer file to a computer once it's done downloading , open up the Minecraft installer file and then you should see this window right here where all we need to do is agree to the terms of service and then select install .

Once it's done installing , all you need to do is select , let's go .

Then if there's any updates available for the Minecraft launcher , it'll get those installed as well .

Once the launcher is fully loaded , you'll have two options to log in .

You can log in with your Mojang account if you want to , but most likely it's been migrated to Microsoft .

So I'm just going to log in with my Microsoft login now that we've logged in to the Microsoft launcher , as you can see in the left side bar , we can select either the Java edition of Minecraft or the Windows edition plus dungeons and even legends .

So now all we need to do is select play .

If you don't already have a user name selected , go ahead and enter that in and then select , confirm and now it'll start downloading the Minecraft Java edition to your computer .

Keep in mind the download is only 600 megabytes .

And then once it's done downloading , you'll see that you're now ready to start playing and it'll start launching Minecraft from here .

We can select if we wanna play single player or multiplayer or Minecraft realms and then you can start playing Minecraft on your PC or laptop , right ?

So that's how you download and install Minecraft on a Windows PC or laptop .
