How to Create a Poll on Facebook in 2023

There's an option inside of Facebook where you could create a poll inside of Facebook and actually get people to answer that in a survey format .

But for some reason , Facebook keeps limiting where you could find this poll option .

So once again , I wanted to update this video to kind of show you the latest update from Facebook and where the only place now you could get the poll option on Facebook .

If you go to your personal Facebook page and you try to create a post and press more , there is no poll option .

This actually hasn't been an option inside of a personal account .

So you cannot create polls on their personal accounts .

Now , if you go to a page , so if you have a business page , for example , you could have a Facebook page and inside of there , there was an option called create post on Facebook .

That's basically how you create a post on your page .

And here you have the same three dots as you had before .

And there used to be a poll right here .

For some reason , Facebook removed it even from the pages option and they only left it in one place that I'll show you , but you can no longer create a poll on Facebook pages , which is kind of terrible .

I used to do this all the time .

And if you go to the publishing tools too , they remove the old version of it where you could actually request the old layout .

That's not there anymore either .

So now the only place you could actually run a poll on Facebook is from a group page .

Basically , if you have a Facebook group , which I have here , you could go ahead and go to that group page , press , write something , press the three dots and you will finally have the poll option from this page , which again , I know it's not ideal , but there is no way around that .

This is only available on Facebook groups .

You would write your question here and then these are your poll options here that you could choose and add new ones .

You could allow people to choose multiple answers .

I'm gonna turn that off .

You could also allow anyone to add another option .

So if they don't see an option that you chose , you could let them add another option .

You could turn that off as well and then you could go ahead and post it from the post page or you could schedule it for a later time .

Now , if Facebook decides to bring pulls back to pages or if they add it to personal accounts , I will update this video and I'll put the latest video as the first comment .
