Major Scales - How to Play D Flat Major Scale on Piano (Right and Left hand)

I'm going to play D flat major scale one octave .

And then I'm going to teach you how to play it .

We're gonna start off by giving the fingers to the hands and numbers on the left hand , this is the finger 12345 on the right hand .

That's a finger 12345 .

And here's the uh middle C and we're gonna go down uh to the uh flat with the finger number three .

So here's the pattern going up and coming down for the left hand three is D flat is flat .

One is F , you gonna take finger number four and you're gonna cross it over finger .

Number one to the uh G flat three is a flat two is B flat one is C , you're gonna take finger number two and you're gonna cross it over finger number one to the D flat .

So you just reverse the pattern going down .

So two is D flat .

You gonna tuck finger number one under the finger .

Number two to the C two is B flat three is a flat four is G flat .

You gotta take fing number one and you gonna tuck it under finger .

Number four to the F two is E flat three is D flat .

So that's the pattern going up and coming down for the left hand , practice that until you're comfortable with it .

Then come back to this video and work on the right hand .

Now , we're gonna work on the right hand .

This is the uh middle C .

We're gonna take frame number two and we're gonna put it on the uh on the uh D flat .

So here's the pattern going up and coming down two is D flat three is E flat tuck .

Frame number one .

And the frame number three to the F two is D flat .

One is a flat four is B flat .

You're gonna take finger number one and you're gonna tuck it under finger number four to the C and two is D flat .

You're just gonna reverse the pattern going down .

So two is gonna be D flat .

One is C gonna cross finger number four or finger .

Number one to the B flat three is a flat two is G flat one is F , you gonna cross finger number three over finger number one to the E flat to his D flat .

So that's the pattern for the uh right hand going up and coming down , practice each hand individually and when you're comfortable with them , individually , put them together .
