Major Scales - How to Play F Major Scale Two Octaves on Piano (Right and Left hand)

I'm going to play major F scale two octaves and then I'm going to teach you how to play it .

OK ?

We're going to start off by giving the uh fingers to the hands .

Some numbers on the left hand .

This is finger 12345 on the right hand .

This is finger 12345 and this is a middle one octagon from middle C two octo down from middle C and we're gonna come up uh 35 P .

So this be D and F .

So finger number five is going up , the left hand is gonna be on the F .

So here's the pattern that you would use going up .

It's gonna be , yeah , they flat .

See you gonna cross finger number three over finger number one to the D F .

Now you're gonna cross finger number four over finger number one to the G that and you're gonna cross finger number three over finger number one to the D and death .

So you just do the reverse to come back down .

It's gonna be Yeah , we , and you're gonna take finger number one and you're gonna tuck it under the finger number three to the , uh , C flat .

You gonna take finger number one and you gonna tuck it under the finger number four to the F D .

Are you gonna take finger number one or you gonna tuck it under finger number D to the A ?

Yeah .

So that's the pattern you use for the , uh , left hand going up .

Just practice that until you at a nice slow , comfortable pace .

And , uh , once you've accomplished that , then come into this video and we'll work on the uh right hand , come back .

This is uh middle C one down from middle C .

We're gonna come up uh three white keys , which is gonna be de so we're gonna put finger number one on the right hand and here's the pattern coming up .

It's going to be , yeah , the be flat .

We're gonna take finger number one .

We're gonna tuck it on the finger number four to the sea .

We're gonna take finger number one and we're gonna tuck it up under the finger number three to the F BB flat .

We're gonna take finger number one and we're gonna tuck it up under this finger number four to the CD ef So to go down , we're just going to reverse that pattern going down .

There's gonna be F DC .

We're gonna take finger number four and we're gonna cross it over to the uh B flat .

We're gonna cross over to one to the B flat B flat A .

Now we're gonna take finger number three , we're gonna cross over finger number one to the E , we're gonna take finger number four and we're gonna cross over finger number number one to the B flat .

See , so that's the pattern for the uh right hand going up and coming down .

So when you're comfortable with the left hand and comfortable with the right hand , you can work on putting both hands together .
