Hello and welcome to my channel today .
I'm going to show you a quick and foolproof method to cook rice in a way that doesn't stick and that is fluffy and light every time it is important to have a lied non stick pan with the right size for the amount of rice you're cooking .
So for serving two , I'm going to use a 16 centimeter sauce pan , adding some garlic will give the rice a great aromatic flavor .
And so I'm going to chop three garlic s now heat two or three tablespoons of vegetable oil over a medium high heat and swirl it to cover the bottom of the pan .
When hot , reduce the heat to low , add the garlic and let it fry for about half a minute before it starts to turn golden , then add the rice .
There is no need to rinse it and a pinch of sea salt stir well with the wooden spoon so that everything is well coated in oil over a high heat stirring all the time for about one minute or until the grains start to turn whiter and slightly opaque .
Measure twice the amount of water to rice , preferably in the same container used to measure the rice and pour into the pan stir once making sure that no grains stay attached to the sides of the pan .
And over a high heat , bring rice and water to a boil from this point on .
Don't stir the rice anymore .
Then turn down the heat to the lowest possible and let the rice cook uncovered for about four minutes or just until the water has reduced to the point that the first grains start to show on the surface .
Now put the lid on and let it cook for a further 8 to 10 minutes .
Do not stir and do not take the lid off while the rice cooks after this time , turn the heat off and let the pan rest with the lid on for at least five minutes .
Then fluff the rice with the wooden fork taste and necessary season with a bit of fine salt .
Your fluffy , nonsticky aromatic rice is not ready to serve .
Hope you enjoy .
