Guys and welcome to another cartoon vlog .
And today it's all about the M two S driving modes , but with a bit more focus on the exhaust system .
Now , unlike the other M cars in BMW S line up , the M two uses the same driving modes you would find in any other regular BMW .
And what that means is that you basically have three main driving modes , you have comfort , sport and sport plus .
So without further ado , let's just hear how the car sounds in each of the three modes .
Yeah , but as you've probably seen in my quite click bait title , there's also a secret exhaust mode .
Well , it's not exactly secret but not a lot of people know about it on the BMW M two .
If you press the traction control button , once you enter a so-called traction or MD M mode , that's short for M dynamic mode .
And once you're in this mode , the car's traction control is halfway off , meaning that you do have a little bit of slip but the car won't let you crash .
And two , it means the exhaust valves are now fully open and just listen to how good the car sounds in this MD M mode comfort mode .
This is the default mode in which the car starts up .
And in this setting , the exhaust is in its quietest mode possible .
The steering is as light as it can be and throttle response is mild at best .
Now , let's put the car in sport mode and immediately you hear the exhaust sound amplify a bit .
But unfortunately , because this is a BMW , the fake noise that's being pumped through the speakers also gets louder .
Just listen to the differences between how the car sounds like on the outside compared to how it sounds like in here .
Yeah , thank God for the sun roof because when you open it , it allows for lots more exhaust noise to make its way inside the cabin .
But yeah , other than the noise , sport mode also increases throw response and adds a bit of extra weight to the steering , traction control , however , is fully on in this mode in sport plus mode .
However , the traction control is halfway off , meaning that you do get a little bit of sleep , but supposedly the car will help you to not crash , throw response is instant and it's so addictive to drive the car in this mode .
And while the exhaust isn't necessarily louder , it does have a lot more crackles and burbles on the overrun .
And last , but not least we have MD M or traction mode , which basically is a comfort mode , but with traction control half way off and the exhaust valves fully open .
This is the mode in which I drive the car around town the most because it's very relaxing to drive .
The steering is light throw response is mild , but the exhaust crackles and burs all day long , even at 2000 R PM .
The other good thing about the MD M mode is that because it's based on comfort mode , that means that the fake exhaust that's being pumped through the speakers is almost inaudible .
So you'll get to hear most of the crackles and pops of the exhaust .
But anyway , that's been it for this video .
My friends , I really hope you've enjoyed it .
If you did , please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to cartoon for lots more content to come and until next time , take good care of yourselves and I'll see you around .
