1970 Chevrolet Impala _ Caprice 454 Cold Start

All right .

Let's do a cold start of the 70 Caprice just gave it a tune up .

It's about uh , I'll say low 30 degrees here this morning .

So quite cold .

Get one pump of the accelerator and see what happens .

Running smoothly .

No , stalling .

What's off the accelerator , run it through .

Nothing like the sound of a big block boy .

Is that good ?

Not shaking one bit .

Such a cool car .

Let's turn it off and see how it restarts too .

Sure .

It'll be just fine .

That heat stove tube is getting a little , a little dilapidated looking .

I can get a new one , but they're always , I've only seen ones that are stainless ST if anybody knows where to get one that's black like that .

That's wrapped .

Let me know because I haven't seen one like that any of that .
