How To Tie A Tie _ The Full Windsor Knot _ How To Tie A Tie For Beginners

Welcome to this instructional video on how to tie the full winds or not presented to you by Destino of Melbourne .

Now , the full Windsor knot is our preferred knot because it creates a great full symmetrical knot and looks really good when tied correctly .

Now , the first step required to create the perfect full Windsor knot is to take about three or four inches of the short end of the tie in your left hand as you see here .

Now , you only need a very short length in the left hand because the rest of the tie is required to make the knot .

Now , you bring the long end of the tie over the front of the short end as you can see here .

And from there , you'll need to bring the tie back up underneath towards your neck and pull it through and drop it down to the right hand side .

Now , I'll pause it there for you so you can see how they're not supposed to look at the moment .

Ok .

Now , from there , you'll need to bring the long end of the tie back up underneath the knot like say the rear of the tire is facing the front there , you then bring the tie across the front of the knot this time towards your neck and pull it back down under the back of the tie , pull it all the way through and allow it to drop back into your right hand side .

Now you'll notice the knot at the moment is a nice symmetrical B shape where if the tire is facing the front .

Yeah , now , from there , you'll need to bring the tie across the front of the knot .

It'll create the nice uh cross section of the tie at the front , bring it back up underneath again towards your neck .

Just hold the knot there .

You can tuck your fingers in between the knot , then if you want to , but it's just as easy to keep the tie loose , create a bit of space for you to tuck the tie in and then bring the long end down and tuck it through the front , pull it all the way through , tightened a little bit .

And then with the short end of the tie at the back , you hold on with one hand and then hold on to the knot with the other and pull it up towards your knee and there you have the perfect four wins or not .
