Hey , guys in this video , I'm going to show you how to tie the box knot , which is used to make paco keychains like these two here .
First thing we're going to do is take two pieces of para cord and we're going to cross them like this .
And then we're going to fold the bottom cord over the top one using both ends .
So we hold the bottom end and then the top end over and then we're going to weave the ends of the top court over and under .
So the first end and then the second one again over the first , under the second and then pull it through and we're going to tighten this knot by pulling on each of the ends .
The first one is always the hardest to tighten up .
But after that , it gets easier to continue this , we would again fold the ends of one chord over and then weave over the first and under the second like we did in the first , not like this .
And then we're going to tighten the knot again by again , pulling on each of the cords .

So this is the box knot and as you can see , it matches the pattern of the keychains that I've shown you before .
