Start with the wide end of the tie on your left and the narrow end on your right , the tip of the narrow end should rest near your belly button .
First things first cross the wide end over the narrow end to your right next , guide the wide end under the narrow end to your left and across the front to your right under the narrow end and to your left again across the front and to your right up through the neck loop from underneath and down through both loops on the front .
Tighten the knot by pulling down on the wide end , slide , the knot up and adjust when completed .
