So today I want to talk about a very interesting topic , an interesting topic which probably uh you will be a little surprised because I get this question .
Not just questions , you know , I , I get actually probed for a lot of people on this .
You know , uh I'm talking about uh steam room , I'm talking about steam room and weight loss because steam room , it has apparently become a quintessential uh uh necessity and pretty much all the gyms these days , you know , it doesn't matter if it's a high end gym .
It doesn't matter if it's a mediocre gym .
You've got to have Steam .
Remember all these guys , you know , remember you for that matter if you were to go to a gym and say , hey , where is the steam room ?
Where is sauna ?
So in this video , I will be talking about Steam Room .
Are there any benefits of Steam room ?
Some people also say like one of those gym owners , they see gym owners say that , you know what steam can actually make you lose weight .
And I'm like , really ?
So I'm not going to be talking about sweating and weight loss .
I'll be talking about steam room and weight loss .
It's true or it's not true .
So when you are sweating , you feel that there's a weight loss happening .
So what you do is you come out of the steam room and you weigh yourself and you see a remarkable difference of a kilo or , or , or 1.5 on the weighing scale .
And you're like , hey , I've lost weight and then guess what , in 15 minutes when you start drinking water and you check your weight right back , guess what the weight is back again .
So this is exactly what it is guys , it's just temporary .
So what happens when you get into a steam room and you start losing that uh uh water , which in the form of sweat , uh You're just losing water , you're not losing fat .
And the moment you start drinking that water back on , you know , that water weight comes right back .
So it's more of a temporary arrangement for people , you know , who are getting ready for shoots , you know , but I feel , you know , if you really want to get in that contest , prep shape steam room , it's probably one of the last resorts if nothing is working or just to kind of make it to that weight category guys , but it's not the safest weight at all .
And I'll tell you something if you were to dehydrate yourself like that , like you would in a steam room , you know , uh you're really asking for a lot of trouble guys , you know , because obviously , you know , you , you , you , you're figuring you're kind of dis balancing your body's electrolyte .
And when that happens , you know , your body temperature will come right .
And you , you're playing with , you know , uh uh homes stasis is what it's called , you know , the body temperature .
And that when you do , and that can actually be detrimental to your health guys and , you know , it can actually kill you .
You really want to do that , do you ?
You know , and , and that too , for stupid 1 kg or 2 kg , is it worth the deal ?
I don't even think so .
So that's , that's a question on , on , on weight loss and steam room .
It doesn't work .

So if you're thinking steam can actually make you lose weight , if the guy is telling you , the gym owner is telling you that , tell him to , to , to , to off , it doesn't work like that .
It's not true at all .
Number two , are there any benefits of Steam room ?
Yes , there are benefits .
Like , you know , if you are one of those metrosexual guys , you know , if you want to keep yourself clean or if you want to keep yourself hygienic steam , you know , taking steam on about 2 to 3 days a week , it can be actually very healthy for you .
It can open up your skin pores , it can make your skin look fresh .
You know , you can actually feel a lot more younger , it can tighten up your skin .
But hey , don't expect it to happen , you know , in about two or three sessions .
It's a long run because we as humans are very , very impatient .
The moment if I were to tell you , hey , scheme will help you in anti aging or steam will help you , you know , make you look better .
You will immediately start doing steam .
If I tell you three days a week , you'll start doing six days a week .
Hoping that , you know , the effects of the results will be double .
If you were to kind of put in more effort , it doesn't work .
So you really have to do that much only so twice or twice a week , probably you can see the results in about 2 to 3 months because it's guys , you know , but it will make you really feel good .
You know , that water weight that you lose .
Uh uh remember when you get into the steam room , take some water with you because it's very important for you to hydrate yourself after every 2 to 3 minutes because you're losing a lot of water and losing this much water in this much short time is , is , is not uh healthy , it can be really dangerous .
So obviously when you do steam next time , do drink some water .
So I hope these tips come in handy to you .
I hope when somebody tries to tell you about steam room and its weight loss phenomena , you give it right back and you know , I hope , you know , you try to do steam mostly for your grooming purposes , not for your weight loss goal because for weight loss , it's more of a holistic approach .
Steam room is very , very temporary .
It just going to get 1 kg off for about 15 to 20 minutes and the weight will come back once you start drinking water .
