Hey , foodies .
Welcome to Kanas Kitchen again .
Today , I'm gonna show you healthy and wholesome recipe using some oats that is oats , pancakes .
These pancakes are full of vegetables in it , which are quite nutritious tasty and very easy to prepare at home .
So let me show you how to prepare these oats pancakes at home .
And I've got a lot of requests from people asking that they want to learn something out of oats which should be kids friendly .
So come quickly , I'll show you how to prepare these here .
I've got some oats , which I'm going to transfer into the blender and grind it for around 20 to 30 seconds to make a fine powder out of it .
You can also keep this little course if you want or if you want , you can also use the oats flour directly once grinded enough , take this into a large bowl along with some semolina .
Here , I'm using the fine semolina and to this , add in the butter milk and the lemon juice to it , give it a good stir and make sure to keep the level of the buttermilk above the oats and let it get soaked and stand for around 15 to 20 minutes .
This way , most of the moisture will be taken up by the oats and the semolina and it will become light and fluffy .
Now , after 15 minutes , you can see this .
Now it has become a little dry to this .
I'm going to add some salt , green chilies , cumin seeds , chopped , ginger some onions , capsicum , carrots , some finely chopped spinach leaves , tomatoes , add some fresh coriander and mix everything really well .
Adding some more water to it but do not make it very runny .
It should be thick flowing consistency like dosa .
Now , this basic pancake mixture is ready if you want , you can refrigerate this and just before you start to make the pancakes , Sprinkle the fruit salt or you know , over it and then stir it lightly first and it will react with the buttermilk and the lemon juice and it will start to become frothy with some bubbles on top .
You can see this is how it looks .
Now , mix it vigorously once but do not overmix it .
Now heat a nonstick pan or a griddle , brush it lightly with some oil or butter and pour the prepared mixture onto it .
Spread it nicely in a circular motion with the help of the back of a spoon .
And then let it cook on one side for 1 to 2 minutes and then flip it over onto the other side , drizzling some oil from the sides and again , let it cook until it becomes golden brown on both the sides .
So keep flipping and adding the butter or oil as desired to cook it evenly on both the sides or until it turns golden brown and crispy .
Now you can see it's done enough .
It's well cooked on both the sides with slight crispy edges .
I'm going to remove it onto a plate and repeat the process for the rest of the battle .
And now this lovely looking colorful and healthy oats pancake is ready .
I'm going to serve it hot with some ketchup or chutney on the side .
So my filling and power pack oats pancakes are ready and these are not only healthy , but at the same time , they are quite nutritious and low in calorie also .
And they were great for breakfast for kids snack box or even for expecting ladies or the mummies to be for the hunger cravings .
