How to Draw Ariel The Little Mermaid _ Halle Bailey

Hi dress the kitties .

When here today , we're gonna draw Halle Bailey as Ariel from the little Mermaid .

So let's get started to draw this new area .

Let's first start by drawing her eyes .

So we're gonna come right here and draw a circle .

Then now they have that , let's come out and tell us about this wide and draw another circle there .

So now I have my two circles in , let's make them draw CQ eyes of two small circles inside for highlights and a curve line at the bottom and shade in the top .

And now that we have that line at the bottom and same thing over here .

So now that we have the eyes in , let's come to the side right here and spruce them up with some beautiful lashes .

So I just come out with maybe two curves and same thing here there and then from there , let's go uh go above the eye about right here and we're just gonna go ahead and draw a soft arc over the eye and same thing on the other side right here right over the eye .

Ok .

So now that we have that , let's give her a sweet smile .

So about right here , just gonna draw a curve and bring it up and cap it off from there .

Let's go ahead and frame her face .

So I'm gonna come to the top of her eye and I right here really close to the lashes .

I'll give myself a point and same thing over here .

And I'm basically going to start to draw the bottom of A U go around her eyes and I'll come back to my center and say about right here , I'll give myself a point .

So I know where I'm going and I will try to angle a little bit to bring it all the way down to my point and up down right there and then the little chin and then connect it .

So same thing on this side and connect there .

So now that we have her face , uh the bottom part , let's go ahead and just imagine oval her hair uh splits in the center .

So I'll say about right here .

I give myself a point and I'm gonna go up and bring down a curve to complete my face .

It the same thing here and the net there .

OK .

So now that we have that , let's see here , um let's go to the top .

We're just gonna draw a line going up and about right here , we're gonna split it on both sides , then I'm gonna come up and I'm just gonna walk on my way down and same thing here just all your way down .

But because there's a lot of detail in her hair , let's draw her body first before we finish her hair from there .

Let's go ahead and come back to the center .

I'm gonna give her a little neck right here and here .

Then we're gonna come down with a curve and turn down , uh right here , round it off of some shoulders , same thing here and come down for some shoulders .

Then from there , we're going to imagine her arm pit would be about right here .

I'll give myself a point .

And here and from this area , we're going to come and draw a curve towards our center .

So I'll just bring down a curve all right here and go back up another curve and then let's come back to this point right here .

We're going to slant the line , angle , line down and same thing here , they have a tiny little waist and then let's come back .

So let's come down a little bit about right here .

I'm just gonna draw a curve and round it off for her top , that same thing here .

And then this pretty little detail on the top , come back about right here .

We draw this little curve and then just wobble your way back into the center and the same thing here , wobble out and just pop this part out .

Then let's uh now that we have that in , let's come back about right here and we're going to curve in a and go straight to the center and same thing here there .

And then we're going to draw a curve coming around and taper towards the center .

It's the same thing here there .

So now we can begin her beautiful tale .

So I'm gonna come back right back here and draw curve and another curve there .

So for um this drawing of this mermaid , I'm going to have the tail going this way .

So let's come back right here and gonna bring this in .

And so this curve is just going to come all the way across .

It just depends on which way you want her tail to go .

So about right there , smooth out my curve and then about right here .

I'm gonna start to taper it in so that I can bring it to this side .

So let's go right there and then let's curve it out and connect everything and round it off there .

OK .

So then from there , let's draw her beautiful tail .

So I'm gonna start about right here and I'm just gonna draw some curves to decorate this part and I'm gonna come out try some of these beautiful fin .

Uh Let's see here .

It's kind of like we come back in here and maybe one more back to the center .

So same thing here .

Now , just want to decorate this part .

Hopefully , you like what I came up with .

It was a little bit difficult to try to figure it out to simplify it .

So hopefully , I haven't messed it up too much with this version here .

So now they have that , then we're gonna draw the tail part .

So let's come back to the center and I'll work on this part right here .

I'm just gonna draw a curve so everything is just flowing this way .

I'll try another one .

Just remember your flow is going that way .

So about right here , we're gonna pop out this beautiful , thick , so very different from the original , of course .

So about right there .

OK .

Kind of wobble a little bit and then wobble bigger and then just go ahead and connect it with a big curve .

So same thing here , just wobble a little bit and then big curve and bring it in and connect there .

OK ?

So finally , we're done with the tail .

Now let's draw the arms .

So I'm gonna come right here with the armpit , R , armpits R and we're just gonna bring down the hands nice and simple .

So let's say about right here .

We're gonna end the hands .

So let's come back to here .

Now , I'm just gonna curve it out to the right there .

So just follow .

Now I'll come back here and draw a little thumb , bring this down and draw some fingers that pop out there and then I'll draw the one in the back .

So same thing on this side .

So I just wanna make sure I'm about the same area right there , little thumb , then we're gonna bring it down and then fingers and a little one in the back there .

OK .

So we're finally done with that and you can come in here if you like uh maybe on this side just very lightly , just draw some curves so that we know we're dealing with scales or something or you can just do that when you're coloring , kind of afraid to muddle up too much .

So OK , I'll just leave it like that .

And then from there , let's work on her gorgeous hair .

So right there and then um I'm just gonna bring this down .

So we're gonna try to draw some strands , some indications of strands without making it too complicated .

So we're just gonna come here and there .

OK ?

And let's see here , maybe then I can just start to bring it in .

So not too many .

It's the same thing here .

We make too many .

Then she starts to look like medusa , right ?

We don't want that right there .

I think that's enough .

And then we're just gonna taper it in there .

OK ?

And then um let's see here , then for some details , we could compare , draw one , just different ones , just indication of them .

I think I'm getting a little sloppy here , but hopefully you get the idea and just gonna bring these lines in and just push in some curves in this area .

So once you color everything , it would kind of make more sense .

But , um , there , ok , I think I'll leave it like that for you before I mess it up .

But that is pretty much it .

So it looks a little , like it's gonna add a little strand that comes out like just to break it up .

It looks too stiff .

Right .

So maybe like a one strand that comes out there .

I think that helps a lot .

Ok .

And then , um , I don't have a heart .

So I'm gonna come right here and give her a necklace , a heart necklace and mhm Make her my Jo so cute Ariel .

Um But from the little Mermaid live action movie .

Oh , and also right here I almost forgot very important little dot Right there uh for her Beauty March and that is pretty much it .
