It's been a while since I was in this ivy sweater and in this room , I missed you today .

But since I can't cover all the information I want in 12 minutes , alas here's part two of the video and we are going to focus on gut health today , which is such an important but often overlooked topic .

How does your gut health impact your weight loss ?

Let's talk about your gut .

In simplest terms , when we eat food , our gut breaks it out into small pieces .

Only the small less pieces get absorbed into your blood and converted into energy .

The rest is eliminated as waste material audios .

In other words , not all the calories in the foods we eat get absorbed into your body .

On the other hand , food is not the only thing that goes in and out of our digestive system .

More than trillions of bacteria , cells exist in your gut microbiome may help you digest things like fiber , help with your immune system and may even impact your brain functions .

So how does gut health affect our weight ?

In a start on study , Dr Jewitt at Cornell University showed that the weight of mice could change over 15% just by shifting their intestinal bacteria .

In plain terms , the gut bacteria help break down food .

Some bacteria are better able to chop food into the smaller pieces that get digested , add calories to your bodies and tend to increase our weight .

Theoretically , if our guts have more of those bacteria , we tend to gain weight more easily .

But that is not all your gut bacteria can also affect how different foods are digested and produce chemicals that make you feel full as a result .

People with similar exercise levels and calorie consumption can still experience differences in weight loss or weight gain , depending on the bacteria present in their gut .

Having beneficial bacteria in your gut microbiome can bring beneficial impacts duh .

Whereas having bad bacteria can lead to bloating , cramps , abdominal pain .

How to improve your gut health for easier weight loss ?

Number one , diversify , people with obesity tend to have less diverse gut bacteria than those who are lean to culture a healthy and diverse gut microbiome .

The most direct way is to of course , diversify the foods you eat .

There is a rainbow , you can eat the red apples , cherries , cranberries , red onions , tomatoes , the orange oranges , apricots , mangoes , carrots , turmeric , the yellow bananas , lemons , ginger , yellow onions , corn , the greens brussels sprouts , green tea , olives , green apples , artichokes , cabbage , the blues and purples , blueberries , blackberries , prunes grapes , purple , cabbage , plums .

A lot of these also have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that also increase your fiber intake make you feel full and increase the abundance of beneficial gut bacteria .

Hell yeah .

Number two , reduce fermi cuts and trust me , fermi cuts are not cute .

And a lot of the gut health studies , people with obesity had more of a bacteria called fermi cuts and fewer bacteria disease .

Compared with moderate weight people and not a surprise .

Fermi cues are known to grow rapidly in factories that process sugar cane into table sugar .

Hence , this bacteria is abundant in highly processed carbs or foods with a lot of added sugar .

So reduce added sugar in your diet , not just to avoid insulin spikes , but also to protect your gut health .

In addition , sorbitol and fructose are sugars commonly found in processed foods .

Our bodies have trouble digesting these sugars which commonly lead to gastrointestinal distress like loading .

Number three is to increase bactero disease .

As obesity is correlated with a deficiency in bacterial disease .

आपको पहचान नहीं सकेंगे कि आप वही है जो आप से एक महीना पहले थे ।

तो यहाँ पर नाश्ते में जो हमने चाय लिया उसको मीठा करने के लिए ।
