So today you guys , I'm gonna be redecorating and restyling my living room for 2021 .

I want to give it a refresh and change things up just a little bit just to kind of give my space a fresh look .

So in this video , I'm just giving you some simple tips that you can use to redecorate and refresh your space for the new year as well .

So let's get started .

Ok , guys .

So this is an overview of my living room and dining room area .

I went ahead and already cleaned everything down so that I'll have a fresh space to work with when I'm decorated .

So that's the first tip on refreshing your space or your home for the winter season or whatever season it is , is to clean and declutter and clear everything out that you don't no longer want in there .

That way you have a blank canvas to work with the next step is changing out some of your artwork or accessory pieces .

So I did add this piece of art here .

I got this from home goods where this is actually a recent purchase .

It was 100 and $49 at home goods .

I love it because it has that glam element .

It has some um gray and white , all of my neutral colors that I'm going for in this space as well as a little bit of glitter .

Then over here in my dining room area , I did diy this large piece of art here areas that we're gonna be decorating .

I'm gonna be decorating my living room , my dining room and also that credenza and entryway table as well .

So I always try to rearrange my furniture when it's a new season or a new year just to give the living room a different vibe and a different feel .

So this year I'm gonna change my accent chairs and try to reposition them towards the sofa to kind of create a sitting area .

Now , if you live in an open floor plan like me , it's kind of really hard to move your furniture around in certain spaces because because of the lack of walls , but this is one arrangement that you can try in your space , whether it's an open floor place , open floor plan or not , just kind of create a conversation area .

So I have the sofa along the wall and then I'm changing my ax and chairs to face the sofa .

Ok .

Next , I'm just gonna go ahead and redecorate my side tables and start redecorating some of those spaces .

So one way to refresh your space is to rearrange your home decor , switch some things up , change out your decor pieces and your accessories .

Then that will definitely give you a fresh new look .

So here you see me changing out my lamps .

I picked these lamps up here from home goods and I'm just gonna replace it with these lamps here .

I got these from the at a home store and I had these for quite a while , but I just wanted to kind of bring in more brighter tones and warm tones to this space .

Next , I'm gonna go ahead and just style my coffee , my side table and I'm just gonna add this book .

It's called Atmosphere and you can find this book in my Amazon store .

Next , I'm gonna add this acrylic box of roses that I got from Rose Forever , which was a collaboration that I had the opportunity to participate in it .

These roses are set to last at least a year and they are fresh roses that are preserved .

So at the bottom , I'm just gonna add this decorative bowl with these decorative balls that I got from the at home store .

But the bowl did come from home dis .

So moving on to my second side table here , I'm gonna keep it fairly simple on this table as well .

I'm just gonna go ahead and add these crystal candle holders that I got from home goods and these are actually a dupe for the ones that are sold at the gallery .

So next to my coffee table , like I said , I really wanted to bring in the ivories and the brown tones for the winter season .

So I'm add these decorative boxes .

I had these for a while as well .

I got these from the at home store .

These boxes make really good storage containers , especially when you are setting them on your coffee table .

Now next , I'm gonna add this acrylic tray .

This is actually a new purchase .

I got this from CB two and everything that I can link down in the description box .

I will definitely link it for you guys down in the description box below , but I'm just gonna add some coffee table books and I picked these up from Amazon .

I'm gonna add in my favorite ginger jar .

I picked this up from home .

I love it because it has that design on there , which looks really nice .

And then I'm gonna add in some cream florals as well .

Next , I'm gonna add in this candle holder .

I picked this up from home just a while ago and I'm just gonna add one of my favorite scented candles and this candle holder which is pumpkin pecan waffles .

Now , when you're trying to refresh your space , one tip I would definitely recommend is shop your home first .

Definitely shop your home and I'm quite sure you will be able to find some nice elements that you already own that to redecorate your space and give it a fresh new look .

And then these containers , like I said , they those brown containers are very good storage boxes .

And what I'm storing in there are my candle accessories .

So my lighter and my little scissors to cut the wigs and everything like that and add in these coasters .

I picked these up from bed bath and beyond .

These are some nice glass , a guide candle hold uh coasters which are really , really cute .

They , the shade that I have , they have a little bit of gold around the trim .

Then they come in like a white and a black color on the coast as well .

So I have that link down in the description box below if you guys are interested .

So next , like I said , I shopped my home .

So I'm gonna add in these pillows here that I got from home goods a while ago .

I love these pillows .

For the fall and the winter season because it adds those warm tones to my space .

So these pillows , it has that nice texture on one side .

And then they also have a velvet um texture on the opposite side .

So you can kind of flip it over and get whichever and use whichever side you want .

But I'm gonna use it on that kind of brown kind of copper uh side today for this video .

Next , I'm gonna add in these beautiful ivory pills on these are a new purchase .

I picked these up from home .

Good .

So it has like a silk material and I love the pattern on there .

It really looks nice and looks and I believe these were 24 99 .

Next I'm gonna add in this small lumbar pillow .

I believe this was in the size .

Um I think it's 14 by 27 .

I love this pillow because it has that velvet material on the back , which definitely is a luxury kind of material and it also has that beaded material on the front which kind of get give me my glam that I also like .

So this bill only thing is I think it's called artistic design is the name of the brand and it was like 1999 .

But I did end up changing out the insert for one of my good inserts because the one that it came with wasn't Downfield .

So I changed it out for a downfield insert .

So next one thing that you can , one way you can easily cozy up your space for the winter or the winter season is to add a nice decorative throw .

So I'm adding this furry throw that I got from the gallery .

Um Yeah , so I love it because I have the creams and the khaki tones in there that kind of brings out the elements that I'm going for in this space .

So my accent chairs , I'm gonna add in these ivory pillows as well .

I got these from the , at a home store and these pillows are just the at home brand .

So I believe there is , I believe there is a link to these pillows and they were 24 99 .

I believe , I thought at the , at a home store .

So next , moving on to my dining room , I'm gonna keep things fairly simple .

So I'm gonna add in this vase .

This vase is a new purchase .

I purchased this from home good , maybe about two months ago .

So I loved it because it has , it's ceramic , but it also has a little bit of shine it .

And then it also has like a teardrop opening .

So I really love that .

So I'm adding these florals to it as well .

I picked these stems up from Michaels and I believe most of my stems I usually get either from Michaels or either um , hobby Lobby .

Another way you can kind of cozy up your space for the winter is adding a nice decorative basket with some throws and pillows .

So I'm gonna add some additional throw cozy up with nice thick lush throw blankets .

So I'm gonna add this throw blankets here that I got from home goods and this basket I actually picked up from Target and I picked this basket up a while ago and I believe it's a threshold brand , but I'm not sure .

Next , I'm gonna add in these decorative pillows .

So I think I'm just gonna end up adding one pillow that I can fit in this basket and the pillows are already here .

But the cushions I believe I got from Etsy .

Next .

So since my sofa table , I got a new sofa table , a console table .

So I'm gonna end up putting my little gray Ottomans over here by my mirror , right .

So we're gonna go ahead and style my Credenza area over here and I'm gonna start by adding these hurricanes that I got from home and then it's gonna add some nice candles to it .

And the Credenza itself came from home goods .

The next I'm gonna add in this fl arrangement that I also got from home goods .

Next , I'm gonna add in this decorative book bastard bowl that I got from hung as well .

And then I'm just gonna add it , add these gorgeous little blush , pink crystals that I got from hung as well and I think those crystals came in like a pack of 12 or 13 crystals in there for like 16 99 .

So , ok , you guys , so moving on to my console area .

So I'm just gonna keep it nice and simple on this space as well .

So I'm gonna add this ginger jar which I got from the mirror came from and then the sofa table I actually got from Star Furniture here in Houston .

So I'm gonna add these nice florals that I got from Hobby Lobby .

Then next , I'm gonna add to the left side of these cloches that I got from the gallery .

These are the jewels cloches from the gallery and I believe they are on sale .

So I definitely will have them link down in the description box below as well .

And I don't know what these little blush balls are called , but they're just like little decorative um balls or whatever .

So I'm gonna add those to the cloches , but I love it because it adds a little bit of pop of color .

So that is it you guys .

So this is an overview of my living room and dining room area .

I love how everything has turned out .

Very nice and simple and clean .

So just the vibe that I was going for .
