Hi , guys .
This is a tutorial for truce by 21 pilots .
Now , before I get started , I just want to say that this tutorial is not going to be chord based , OK ?
It's gonna be a full play through of the actual , um , tune of the piano that is in the song .
Um , so I wasn't sure when some of you were were were were requesting it , whether you wanted a chord based simpler one or whether you wanted the original one .
So I thought what I'd do is I'd start with the original , and then if you still want a simpler one , just let me know down in the comments .
And I will be more than happy to record a simpler version , a chord based version for you .
So also , I don't have the sheet music for this to distribute .
So there's no point in asking me for the sheets .
Um , apart from that , Yeah , Let's just get started .
I'm gonna do this bar by bar .
Then I'm gonna be putting , um , putting those bars together to to show you what it sounds like , um , in bigger chunks .
But , um , it could be a slightly longer video than usual because we're doing because we're doing , um , actual stuff and not just called .
So let's just get started , OK ?
So the first thing that we need to know is that this is where Middle Sea is so that you know , whereabouts we are .
And the first thing that we want in our right hand for the first bar is AD and a G .
OK , so we just want that D and G in the right hand and in our left hand .
We want this G here and we want GDG DGDGD OK .
And you play the D and the G on the first G of the left hand and you do that twice .
Ok , so like this .
Ok , so that is the first two bars then in our right hand , we're going up to G and B say F sharp and a D sharp .
B Now the shop and be fits in with the left hand .
So it doesn't sound so weird .
So in our left hand , what we want is another one of those .
Then we go B BB !
Ok , OK , but obviously you don't know where the left hand and the right hand fits in together , so I'm gonna tell you where I'm gonna show you where everything fits in together .
So really slowly .
OK , so the G and the B OK , I'll play that through for you again .
Then onto the next bar , we go up to a G F sharp .
A GB .
OK , so that's what we've got in our right hand and in our left hand we come up CGC GDGF sharp .
OK , so left hand again .
Ok , so I'll put that for you together so you can hear how that part sounds .
OK , let me do that again for you .
So what I'm gonna do is put that whole those first four bars together for you .
OK , so you can hear what it sounds like .
Ok , then we're going on to the next bar .
So in our right hand , we want G a B EB a G EB Sorry .
E DB .
Let me play that through for you again and in our left hand .
We want me , ok , a bay CGCG and I'll show you how that fits together .
OK , I play that for you again .
Try and do it a bit slower for you then after you've hit that B the next part is just left hand .
So it's just GDGD So it's just that twice So now the next bar is in our right hand G and B see D sharp and F sharp .
And then a B .
Ok , Is that like this ?
And in our left hand we just want the GB D .
Sorry , the GD GD BF sharp B .
Now I'll show you how that fits together .
OK , so I'm gonna play those three bars through for you .
OK , then It's just G F sharp a G bay .
And in our left hand it's the CGC GDGF sharp .
OK , so So I'll play that bar for you and then we went again , which is the same as we did before .
So it's the and in our left hand we want E Uh , yeah , E , B E BC GC G .
So again like this .
And then we go back to the GDGD .
OK , so those bars should sound like this .
OK , and then we're going on to D and F sharp .
But you wanna keep the thumb to get this a down here .
So V FAA in our left hand .
We want D I a I Ok , then we want AC and an E with CGC .
Same .
So it's CE and GG in our right hand and CG C in our left hand .
Then an A OK , so that bar should sound like this .
OK , then on to the next bar , we want a G and a B and the and that in our left hand .
Ok , so that's just the GDGD .
OK , so G and B and then in our also in that bar we want CNE B and D , G and B and A and C .
OK , so in our , uh in our right hand , some of this OK should turn like that together .
Then we want AD and a F shop again .
And two A's so CE with two G's and then an E on the end .
OK , so right hand again and in our left hand we want D AD a G .
Uh , sorry .
CGCG .
Ok , I like this .
OK , so those lines , those bars should sound like this .
So for this part , we want D and B , D and I B and G a and F sharp .
And in our left hand we walk down with G F sharp D .
Ok , so like this .
OK , and then the next part the right hand is this so CNE G , DNA , G , CE flat C and E flat .
OK , and our left hand is C .
See , See , And I'll show you how that fits together .
So OK , then we go to a G and a B with this again .
OK , so I'll play those bars for you .
Now for the next part , we just repeat the whole of that section again through OK , so , um so the bits where the verses , that's the part that we repeat through .
So I'm just gonna play that through for you Now , on this next part you want DF sharp A .
Ok , then CE G And then under that we want AD and AC .
That's it on that part .
Then we want AD and a B with a G underneath .
Then we want this part again , which is the same notice as before .
So that little bit should sound like this .
Then we want an F shop and an A with AD underneath E and G with AC underneath .
And then we walk down again .
It's the same notes , but just higher up .
OK , so it's the same pattern walking down So the D and the BD and the a B and the G a and the F shop with .
Then we go to CE twice a CE flat C and E flat .
And in our left hand we just have C CC OK , so I'll show you how that fits in gonna do it again .
And before I go into the next part , I'll play that whole that whole little part through for you .
Ok , now we're moving further up the keyboard or the piano , so I will tilt you this way a bit .
This is my microphone , so I don't mind that actually , let's just move you up , right , So up here .
OK , so that's the first bar of that part .
So it's G , a B , D , a G , E DB .
And in our left hand it's G ECC .
I'll show you where that all fits in together so and then I have to hit that B hit four GS and then play the same in the right hand .
So GAB with an E underneath a D a with AC underneath J E with AC underneath D , G and B with AJ underneath .
OK , I'll play that through for you again that last , uh , section and I'll play that whole little section through for you .
OK , OK , so that's what's going on at the end of the song .
And then that is it .
OK , so I'm gonna play the whole thing through for you .
I'm not going to sing over it because that just lessens my chance of being able to do it without mucking it up .
Um , but if you know , if you're familiar with the song , then you'll know sort of where you should be singing anyway .
