Greetings of Li .
Hi and welcome back to another Emmi how to recipe video today .
I'm gonna show you how to make these beautiful things .
Can you see that ?
Let me wipe off the condensation for you .
If you cannot see that these are dill pickles that are soaking in a solution of kool-aid .
So these are Kool Aid pickles also known as Cool Liles for those of you that don't have Kool Aid in your neck of the woods .
Kool Aid is a beverage consumed by many American Children that contains tons of sugar and tons of artificial flavoring and coloring .
They're very popular in the south of the US and I've never had them .
So I thought I'd make some enough jeer jabbering .
Let's go into the kitchen and I'll show you how to make these piles pickles in my mouth .
Right .
What else ?
And sugar .
Cool .
This one is what flavor .
So the first thing we're gonna do is open up our jar of pickles and drain out all the pickle juice .
So there are a few different ways to prepay pickles .
You can slice them in half or just slice them in the middle , not going all the way through or you can keep them whole and just pierce them several times with a fork .
So after whatever method you've chosen , then you replace the pickle back into the jar .
OK ?
Back to the pickle juice .
Now we're gonna add one cup of just white sugar and stir this until it's completely dissolved .
Next , add 1 to 2 packets of unsweetened kool-aid , whatever flavors you're choosing .
In this case , we're using cherry when everything's well combined , then we're gonna replace the pickle juice back into the jar and fill it up all the way to the very top , reseal it and then place it in the refrigerator for at least one week to marinate .
First of all , I have to admit , I'm not a huge fan of dill pickles .
I always give my pickle to my husband because I just don't really care for them .
But one must try a cool lile once in their lives .
So , all right , let's give it a taste .
So as you saw in the video , I did three different preparations , cut them in half , slice them and I also kept them whole .
So let's see how they look .
So , here's a whole one not very attractive .
I must say habs definitely took on the color .
Look at that .
It seems the cut edges really absorb the color .
It smells very dill , picky sour vinegar and dilly .
All right , let's give them a taste .
Here we go in the , you know , it's actually not , not too bad .
Not nearly as bad as I thought it was gonna be .
I have to admit the flavor is actually pretty good .
I mean , for what it is , it's very dilly and vinegar and quite sweet .
It tastes a lot like relish actually .
Mhm .
The cherry flavor is subtler than I thought it would be .
And so I think if you really want a cherry filled , cool , definitely add two packets instead of one .
I have to say they're really unattractive but the taste really isn't bad .
I'm shocked .
Wow .
Just out of curiosity , let's give the whole one a taste .
Hm .
And as you can see the flavoring and the Kool aid did not get into the middle of that .
So this would either take more soaking or I would just skip this step entirely and just cut them in half .
It seems to be a better way to absorb the Kool aid .
So that's that , that's a cool little and I have to say that I was very surprised by that .
Not horrible at all .
Actually quite palatable and really fun .
If you got a kid that loves pickles and a kid that loves Kool Aid , why not try them ?
Super fun , inexpensive and yeah , weird .
Let me know in the comments below if you've ever had a cool look before .

Bye .
That is so great .
I love the detailing of the scales , not to mention the eyes and look at the size .
They're huge .
It's hard to ignore the fact that a pickle looks incredibly phallic .
I mean , just no way around it .
