And today I have a very exciting video .
It's actually more of a helpful video , but I thought I would show you guys .
So today I'm going to be showing you a bunch of life hacks for falling asleep when you can't and trust me , I've been there .
I know exactly how you feel when you can't sleep and it's the worst .
So I thought I would show you guys some of the best life hacks to falling asleep fast when you're having trouble happens to all of us , whether it happens every night or just sometimes these life hacks should help you out a lot .

But anyway , let's just go ahead and get started with the video .
So one of my favorite tips for falling asleep when you can't is to make sure the temperature is good because you cannot fall asleep when it's too hot or too cold .
The ideal temperature in your room is 65 degrees because your body sleeps the best at that temperature .
So if you need to just turn on a fan , I always have the fan on in my room and it's also really good white noise and then you feel nice and relaxed and cool and the perfect temperature for falling asleep .
One of the best things to do when you can't fall asleep is to read a book , preferably a boring book .
But I just , just read pretty little liars because it's a really good one .
But basically when you read a book , your brain gets really tired or your eyes get really tired from like reading and kind of straining them on the pages .
So really , you just read until your eyes start slowing down and blinking and you can just put your book aside and it really just helps you get more sleepy .
Trust me guys , this works .
I've done it my entire life .
This next tack for falling asleep looks super weird , but it works .
Trust me guys .
It's amazing .
My yoga teacher taught me all you do is put your legs up straight against a wall or a headboard and it looks so weird , but I don't know what it is .
It just makes you really tired and sleepy .
I almost fell asleep in yoga once and I don't know , just try to , if you can't sleep , it really works .
I'm sure a lot of you guys know this hack already and it might not make you very happy .
But 30 minutes before bed , you need to put away all of your electronics because it makes your brain want to stay awake and focus on the screen .
So just put it away .
It's very hard .
I'm very guilty of being on screen before bed .
But if you're having trouble falling asleep , that could be a reason .
It keeps your brain awake for longer .
Than it should .
So just put them away and you should be good to go .
This next pack is also a little bit weird , but it really works .
It's proven to work .
So , all you're going to do is inhale it for four seconds , then hold your breath for seven seconds and then release your breath for eight seconds .
It's kind of weird .
It's like a little meditation but something about it makes you tired and I know I'm demonstrating it so well ar I guys , I , I'm so awkward but anyway , it works and you guys should give this a try if you're having trouble falling asleep .
This next hack is so simple , but it can really make a difference .
I was so surprised when I learned it , but basically just never sleep on your left side .
It is proven to be a lot better and you get a good night's sleep .
If you sleep on your right side , I don't know what it is , but it helps you fall asleep faster and you guys should definitely give this a try .
My grandma actually taught me this next hack and it's so amazing .
This trick really works .
I do it all the time when I can't sleep .
But basically it just lay down and think of as many girl or boy names in the alphabet as possible .
You want to do them in alphabetical order because it makes your brain super tired and you eventually get annoyed with yourself thinking of all of those names and you just crash and fall asleep .
It really works .
Trust me guys .
I know when you can't sleep , it's usually your natural instinct to want to toss and turn and move around to get comfortable , but try to resist that because it just keeps your brain more awake .
So all you have to do is light in your bed for 15 minutes without moving at all .
Guys , try not to move an inch and eventually after 15 minutes , your brain will tell your body that it's not moving or going anywhere .
So you'll eventually fall asleep .
And I'm surprised that this works so well , guys just try it out if you can't sleep here .
We have yet again , another weird hack .
But if you guys are having trouble falling asleep , I would recommend doing some simple stretches in your bed for about five minutes before you fall asleep .
Something about it makes your muscles more tired .
So that way when you actually lay in bed , you'll be relaxed and you'll just feel a lot more sleepy and it'll help you fall asleep .
This next heck is definitely my favorite because it just tastes so good .
So all you're going to do is start out with a cup of milk and you're just going to microwave that for 1 to 2 minutes until it's super hot and warm .
And then you're just going to add a tablespoon of honey to your mug along with half a teaspoon of cinnamon and one teaspoon of vanilla extract .
And then all you have to do is just mix all of that up together .
Then you can just sip on your delicious heaven in a cup as I like to call it .
I hate milk normally , but with this stuff inside it , it just tastes so good .
And it's amazing guys , you should definitely try it out if you can't sleep .
It's actually a home remedy that's been known for years to help you fall asleep when you can't , a lot of little kids drink it when they can't sleep and people from all ages .
So you guys should definitely try this out if you're having trouble falling asleep .
